OK, I've got a white collar job, but blue collar hobbies...I work on my Jeep alot, so I spend a lot of time in the garage. I'm not even thinking of taking a $50-$100 e-cig out there to be destroyed. What do you guys do for that type of situation? Once I'm completely off the analogs, I don't want to start back up due to something like that. I know I'm not the only one who does this kinda thing.

Thanks,
Aiden

Depends on where you are ordering from and what you are using. You can get DSE901/801 kits from www.Ruyandirect.com (they also sell many other e-cig models)for as little as $29.00 and their replacement parts range from $4-$9. You may just want to purchase a few extra kits or parts for this reason. Ruyandirect also offers a 1 year warranty on many of it's parts. I'm saving up defective items to send them in bulk back to Wayne so he can replace them (saves on shipping). Eastmall also has pretty good prices.

Just a thought!

Aiden, the kits are high on some models, but getting parts out of china is your best bet. Bestecig and Ruyandirects, eastmall, sell cheap parts and you can have a e-cig to take out any where for about $15.00 or less. They are actual tougher than you think. Using them is what wears them out. Dropping don't hurt them, getting gas or oil on them will take the paint off, but that don't hurt operation of them. Get the stainless steel ones.

Hell, in some ways these are better than analogs. I have come to use my ecig doing things an analog could not withstand.
I painted my house, put siding on the garage, work on my truck, go fishing, bike riding etc. The grease, paint, water, worm guts, waterless hand cleaner and other stuff would have killed the paper analog. Sure, I gotta wipe off the ecig , but better than the soggy analog.
It is nice to use both hands with out having a lit analog smoking me out.
I have dropped my 510, washed it once, sat on it, left it outside for hours in the rain with out permanent repercussions.

Then too, if I ever I drop it over the side of the boat, it will hurt more than if it were a lost analog!

I do woodworking, in my small shop/garage. I hang my E-cig around my neck and drop it down my blouse. My husband does yard work with one hanging around his neck and tucked into his pocket. He also has a pen clip for when we go out.
Just keep a few shop rags for wiping it down.

Things dangling from my neck are not a good thing while working on a vehicle...;) But I hear ya, I'm gonna give it a shot with a cheapie stainless model.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice!:D

I left an ecig on a golf cart earlier this week (M401)
Shrugged it off, Less than a $20 loss, Under 10 bucks for the battery and under 10 bucks for the atomizer, Not a huge deal.

It'll just make me more careful in the longrun
And as far as these things being delicate....
I work in a warehouse, And have dropped my ecig from a good height several times,
No problems yet *Knock-on-Wood*
