Ah! Superman on Saturday matinee.. A Cowboy movie and a serial, then another movie too. All for a dime admission and another 15 cents for popcorn and a coke. An amazing Saturday for a quarter. HALF of my alowance for the week! And in black and white too! Heaven

My favorite serial starred Gene Autry, the Singing Cowboy. He wasn't a superhero, but he was MY hero on those Saturdays

I agree and it reminds me of this quote attributed to Mark Twain:
"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."
Samus was a cool bounty hunter with a powered armor suit and weapons that include beams and missiles.
Optimus had nice weapory, swords and guns, how can you go wrong. He also has a strong sense of justice and compassion.
I always thought Rogue was awesome, though it would seriously stink to not be able to touch anyone!
And how crazy cool would it be to play with Lightening!
