New to the forums here. Picked up a blu starter pack at Walgreen's in an effort to quit smoking. Enjoyed the experience but got fed up quickly with their cart inconsistency... Especially the burnt flavor on new carts.

So now I am so very anxiously awaiting my new Halo G6 with mini tank. Looking around for information led me to ECF, so here I am.

Welcome to ECF Rev bth_cid_00e901c66554881fee1033edf204HAL.gif ...and congratulations on your first step to be analog free.

Here you will find a plethora of information and opinions, but take your time to enjoy your new found freedoms. I too, started with a cig-a-like kit from Smokeless Image (the G6 is interchangeable with SI) and found it very satisfying and kept me away from analogs.

Good luck on your journey!

Thanks all. I lurked here for a while to get ideas of a decent cigalike... I work in a conservative office in a conservative city and it's important I don't appear to smoking something too odd.. Unfortunately my local vape shop wasn't interested in assisting me with one, they would only recommend something like an ego.

Hopefully I'll be pleased with the g6.. it seems that, with the mini tanks, I can get both the conservative look I need at work and the fuller flavor and vapor the tank offers when I'm at home. From what I've read here, people seem to be happy with them so i hope I'll be joining that number when mine arrives!

Welcome Rev! The hardest part, aside from waiting for your new g6, is finding your favorite juice. I went for sample sizes where possible or small bottles of things that seemed interesting to me. Warning - some are more aromatic than others. I love Nicoticket's Custards Last Stand but my husband always knows when I'm vaping it! That wouldn't work for stealth vaping at the vicarage! Good luck! I'm a PK btw :)

Well, at least here, I've read decent things about the hardware I've ordered... It seems that halo had a good reputation for their juice, so I feel like I've made at least a fairly good decision in that regard.

I've located a couple of suppliers for the juice in my area as well... What I'd like is to know what websites are reputable (other than ECF, of course). So many of them look kind of shady it makes me reluctant to browse.

WhiteHighlights: I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by PK.

I think you'll be really happy with the G6. I started with that myself. Be sure to order a few more mini tanks as they do wear out after a few weeks. Better flavor and vapor though than the cartomizers it comes with. I've been vaping for a few months and I think you'll soon find that cig-a-likes have their place for stealth vaping around work, and a larger eGo or PV is great for at home. Be sure to get the sampler pack from Halo as well. They have a few tobacco flavors that are ok by my favorites from Halo is Malibu which is a mentholated Pina Colada flavor. Tribecca is pretty good too. Good luck and welcome to ECF, Rev. :)

I'm going to say the hardest part is knowing that g6 has been delivered and I won't be home to see it for another 6 hours! And then it still has to charge!
It is written: Patience is a virtue......:D
Then again.....No time like the PRESENT!!!!!;)
BTW...WELCOME to ECF!!!
Ordained minister here since 2005....Non-smoker since July 29, 2013 - the day I started vaping (with Blu, no less!!!:))
Happy (vaping) Trails!
