I think most VV users want the longer battery life, plus there's more room for the electronics so they're easier to build. The Robust was the first and seems to still be the only slim vv mod out there so far. At least you can get them in both round and square versions! Hopefully another inexpensive co-op will turn up - I want one myself.

If we can be a little patient, it's likely something new and slim from china will turn up at the speed they're churning out new stuff.

If you're okay with stacked batteries, the Infinity Pro from notcigs might fit the bill. Mike has good products, excellent mix of performance/durability/safety features, the IPro uses 2x14xxx batteries. I've used his buzz pros and original infinity for over two years, a happy customer. "Size 4.75" long x .72" 18mm around Weight = 2.5 oz. with batteries"

Checkout the lava tube, I have one its nice and slim, light (but people call this feeling a not so solid mod) but I like it. Also about your battery, I've read some people have had this problem, try not tightening the bottom cap so tightly. I've read that works for some people, not sure though I haven't had that problem myself. Also I read some one took a small stick and pushed it out.

I also wanted a Robust, I love my eGos but I needed something with replaceable batteries. But I got bad reviews from the Robust concerning voltage regulation. My advice is that you remove your battery and submerge the top into isopropyl alcohol. Let dry thoroughly, repeat if neccesary. That should unstick the button and remove all debris and juice.

Do you own a T3? Does it fit or does it need an adapter?

Have you considered a Gripper? it's not a tube mod, PWM is quite broad but it regulates quite well, plus, it uses a 18650 in a small form factor.

I used T2's with my Rubust with an adapter. I'm using (RBA)Rebuildable Atomizers now and the Robust works well with them also. I just bought 2 more Robusts from the co-ops. I put alcohol in a syringe and blasted in and around the button. It seems to be sticking a lot less now.
