That face excercise isn't working for me, just makes those cords in my neck stand out. What to do. vape!!
I had pink spoolies.
And you know who you are, if you don't believe in gravity, you will be mortified when it hits you, mark my words. I'm trying very hard to stand up straight these days to keep things from sagging to my knees. Which are also a little saggy. I was always pretty athletic and trim. Flat chested, too.
None of you want to arm-wrestle me though. So far I can hold my own with the G'sons. They made the mistake of calling me "old" one day, so I took them on. Was scared to death they'd beat me, but they were wimpish. TV kids. Don't know how long I can last, except now they won't wrestle me so am safe for a couple more years.
I was in Geometry Class when the news came that JFK had been shot. I was a sophomore.

Those cords are called tendons..they hold your chin up! LOL
When we gave my grandson a b.b. gun a few years ago for Christmas (It stays here and is used when we are outside with him!) The kids all took turns along with some adults. Mike tacked blown up balloons onto the stable (with no roof after the hurricanes) for targets. They had a good time.
Then my grandson gave me the gun that he politely cocked for me  being that I am sooo old, and said to try to hit a balloon..all the while grinning. I popped two with 3 shots and handed him back the gun. That wiped the grin off his face! I told him the sight was off center..like I knew.
I love respect:p

Oh yes. Things that give away my age. Kennedy. When I say I remember going across campus to my one o'clock math class and wondering why the flag was at 1/2 mast. Also, having to throw a box of hair color in my monthly shopping cart for the white roots. The loss of my defined chin line and the addition of varicos veins.
How about when I tell a 'nice young man' (now there's an age give away phrase!!Especially when the 'guy' is in his mid 30's), that my son used to be my computer guru but he's grown and moved away now. Boy that response takes the flirtation spark out of a man's eyes REAL fast.

Not since I was about 36-7 yrs old. I was a cop (small town), the kids then were about the same age my kids were, they mostly called me "Ma" but some called me ma'am. They didn't mess with me much cause they knew I'd call their Mom if there was any trouble! I met one at a biker's party a few weeks ago, and he came up and gave me a big hug! Then the next weekend they had a "Tavern Run", a 70 mile trip, gather as many tavern tokens as they could, then go back to the town where my husband works (he's the cop) and sell them to raise money for different charities, this one for the Christmas Empty Stocking fund. They went right past our house, and I do a lot of photography now, so set up the camera and got 54 bikers' pictures as they went by. Great day, lots of fun. Umm, my husband has now joined the bunch of them, limited capacity of course. Walter's new toy. He's on the bike, the other guy is from the bike club, that's John, he's the one who uses an ElectroNicStick! (I think he's holding it) He thought my JantyStick was cool. Now he thinks I'm cool, too, cause I use a PV. He is a Vietnam Vet also. Walter said he couldn't help it, just had to get a Harley. Everyone else in town has one! Old fool! The other guy is Art, the Hugger, on the Tavern Run. Kinda hard now to see him as a "kid". Great guys.

Oh shut up Jennee!:D
I have a second husband that looked very young for a long time. He still doesn't look his age! I always wondered when people would ask if I was his mom (we are a year apart in age). Now we look about the same-ish age. he always complained he got carded and I didn't. I told him he would love it when he hit 30 and 40!

My mom is six years older than my dad, but everyone thinks she's the younger one LOL, not so when they got married though cause he was only ummm...38 or 39 when they married. Turned out one of my mom's friends used to babysit him when he was a kid lol...ah small towns lol.

Yeah... hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm usually the one saying yes maam or yes sir... and then my salt and pepper hair gave me away. It was refreshing that the young man was polite, just wish he hadn't been to me. LOL

At least I'll never have to worry about gray hair...one g-ma didn't get any till her 80's, the other was full gone by 40, and if I ever do I'll never know it. I've been changing my hair color since I was 12 and first used sun-in, and I doubt I'll ever stop lol.

I was quite young (around 24/25) but had to get used to being greeted as ma'am...I was
a 2nd LT in the Army so it was "mandatory." So, I didn't take it personally. However, I just hated it when some smartass, young enlisted guys would say, "Good morning, sir." I just knew they were doing on purpose (especially if I had a skirt on instead of pants). Now, after years of smoking, my voice is very low...now I occassionally get "sir" when I'm on the phone with some customer service rep! Ma'am would sound just fine at this point, lol.

I think the first time I felt "old" was when my great-niece turned 30 (and she was upset at being 30!!!).

What gives away my age?

The fact I don't have a clue about half the stuff you guys are talking about unless I saw it on TV somewhere

My number 1 source of amusement other than a computer is my xbox 360

All of my spare cash goes to fast food and electronics

I was still in middle school when 9/11 happened (had just turned 13 in fact)

And probably the fact that most of the time I abbreviate about half of what I say

Oh.. and the fact that the most expensive thing I own is my laptop
