Think he's onto something juice-wise

After being a PV user for a couple of months and never really being satisfied my husband ordered Butter Rum and Kick-Azz Caramel from madvapes. He has only tried the Caramel but it is more satisfying than all the so-called tobacco juices he has tried. So, if you are having a hard time with switching from analog Cigs to PV's consider not trying to duplicate the taste of an analog. Go for vapor and nicotine and forget the attempt to duplicate the old habit. This is a new one. It just may help.

Now we understand why most of the juices are 'playful' and not tobacco clones.

Hope this helps someone else,

I totally agree. My wife and I were clove smokers, and it turned out any e-juice with even a hint of clove turned our stomach. We gave up on trying to replicate the flavor of smoking right away because of that, and it seems like that was the right call for us.

My wife thought she'd just have one or two flavors she'd vape, but it turns out her palate is totally different than she expected. She's on a business trip right now, and her "just in case" clearo of a new flavor she wasn't sure about is just about empty. :)

When I first started vaping I couldn't stand tobacco flavors. I liked cherry cola, Atomic Cinnicide, fruit flavors. After about 6 months of vaping I started getting into tobacco flavors (Boba's Bounty, VS Phonenix, Red Pirate, Acid Blonde, etc.) and now tobacco vapes are my favorite. I think I came to like tobacco vapes when I was far away enough from my addiction to analogs that I no longer wanted the taste of a cigarrete and could then appreciate tobacco flavors for what they were.

I really couldn't vape tobacco flavours from the start, i started on fruits then moved to mints now i am on very sweets, and am thinking about revisiting tobaccos, weird huh.

Nah, not weird at all. I was the same way. Try Boba's Bounty, Vapor Station Phoenix, Nitelite Vapor Bounty Hunter, and Want2Vape Red Pirate :)

If you like the taste of tobacco, fine. Go for it. I use various tobacco type flavors in many of my DIY liquids. But I could never understand the desire for many new vapers to want to duplicate, exactly, what ever it was they were trying to quit. It's like someone trying to quit drinking by drinking non alcoholic beer.
In the first place, nobody that I know of yet has been able to exactly duplicate the taste of burning tobacco leaves with a liquid.

It does kind of make sense though, name brand cigarettes usually have some sort of "base" flavoring if Im not mistaken; Marlboros is cocoa or chocolate and not sure what Camel is/was maybe caramel ? But I think grimmgreens little video on the tobacco enigma sums it up pretty good, when you are smoking cigarettes you don't realize that you are tasting burning paper, and chemicals along with the tobacco, its also worth mentioning cigar and pipe and even loose rolling tobacco(s) have a different taste than analogs.

Did the same thing, thought I would like the "reds" imitations and menthol ones. I still kinda like the menthol ones every now and then, but seriously gimme something flavorful, fruity, sweet. It isn't like eating, I get sick of sweet things quite easily... instead I just enjoy it for a long time. Everyone should hear this when they first start vaping lol.

I started out with tobacco flavors and realized that the whole point of me trying to quit analogs was to get away from that "familiar" flavor- so once I discovered the wonderful world of flavors from various vendors, it opened up a whole new galaxy for me, LOL. I love my sweets, but was surprised to enjoy coffee. I had some Ry4 and hated it, but when I blended it with some vanilla and a touch of citrus, it really tasted good to me. I still stay away from tobacco flavors though for the most part.

I think one of the fun aspects of vaping is in trying out new and different flavors. Some disappoint, whilst others are really quite nice. I get enjoyment out of the whole process of discovery :) Plus, it's always nice to read about what others are trying and their reviews. And as was mentioned, I too change flavors because I sort of burn out on one, even though it is a favorite. My taste changes all the time.

I agree. They taste "off" and I can't quite put my finger on it. That's why I tend to stay away from them in general. I do have my own blend I DIY'ed with just a touch of tobacco, but I don't vape it that often. Besides, when I had first started getting into the whole vaping thing, the good aspect to it was that when I would light up an analog, it tasted horrid. That really helped me on my way to trying to rid myself of analogs for good... still struggling, but I'm feeling positive I will succeed for the first time ever.
