Last night i put a new carto in my tank.
using http://happyesmoker.com/cartomizer_5pack.html I punch my own holes.

was vaping for about 6 hours last night and everything was good,

today, i was was vaping for about 2 hours then i noticed, my drip tip started to get warm and the top of my tank was getting warm also, then i noticed i was hardly getting any smoke and started to taste a burnt taste with the smoke i was getting, then the battery would not even make that cooking sound when you press the button to vape.

I took out the carto out of the tank, (never putting over 3 ml in a tank again)
when i took out the carto i smelled a burnt popcorn smell, looked in side the carto, it was dry and with alittle lite brown on the cotton( whatever that is), but noticed not even a drop of juice came out of the carto.

So blew on the drip tip to see if it was clogged or something, when i did, some black spec of what looked like juice came out, and really smelled like burnt popcorn..

now i have a new carto and everything is working again.

Should i have primed the carto like i did yesterday, before i used it today, maybe that would of not burnt my carto:confused:

thanks in advance for the help...:)

No, it should have been fine in your tank with juice in it overnight. You should only need to prime a new carto before you put it in the tank. Don't keep vaping with a dry tank - top it up as soon as it gets very low.

Hopefully it was just a one-of and you won't have any further problems.

I had the same thing happen to me just now. I made the mistake of filling the tank all the way to the top and wasn't paying attention and didn't notice it wasn't feeding into the carto . YUCK!!! I think its important to leave a small space at the top of the tank clear. Something to do with air pressure or something. The only time that happenes to me is right after I fill a tank to the top.
