today, I went to take a puff but when I pressed my button nothing came out. Like nothing happened. does this mean my atty is dead or can I just clean it?

I just held it down for 20 seconds and was still cold. Guess im out of luck. How do attys die though?
I think the most common cause is a solder point near the connector. No more power to the heating element. They're starting to make ones that aren't so fragile now. Can't wait for those to hit the market.

There are so many reasons ! One should do a trouble shooting guide some day...
- Your liquid may be too think, can happen if too much VG in your mix: add vodka and / or water
- Your atomiser may be flooded : blow it or (if it's a 510 or another model with a reccessed bridge) vape it without cart a few times
- Your atomiser wick may be full of crud : wash it or boil it
- The heating coil of the atomiser may be full of crud : dry burn it
- The filling material of your cart may be past it's date : use a new one
- Your battery may be weak : make sure it is fully charged
- etc (use the forum search function)
All of those with the exception of the battery would still create heat just poor/no vapor, right?
