Think my Vapor's Tongue is gone and OMG!

Ok, I did my morning vape test to see if I can taste yet (this is day 9 or 10 of it..lost track cuz it's been forever). Like an idiot, instead of trying something I know what it taste like, for example, Torque (love it) or Midnight Apple (LUV it!) I couldn't wait to try Voodoo, Tribeca and Prime. All three have been steeping FOREVER it seems.

AND....I TASTED FLAVORS!!!!!!!! But I'm scared that I'm not tasting it like they really taste..does that make sense? I not want to overload my taste buds, again, so gonna wait a few hours and try Midnight Apple just to see if I'm tasting right. If I am, OMG WWWWOOOOWWWW, Voodoo is Amazeballs! I'm mean, I love it! And I also love Prime, a lot! I love a nutty taste, and its so damn smooth!!

But, I maybe the only person that doesn't care for Tribeca. It has a perfume taste to it or something. Can't put my finger on it but just odd to me. It was the last flavor I tried so I'm going to try it again after I give my taste buds a break. Looks like I'm going to be buying more Halo, again. Is the Labor Day sale still goin on? LOLOL

@AngiBe I use Biotene see: Amazon.com: Biotene Oral Rinse for Dry Mouth Symptoms-33.8 oz: Health & Personal Care a LOT! It helps me mitigate vapors throat/tongue and helps clear/rejuvenate my taste buds when combined with brushing my teeth. Having said this and depending how long you have been vaping it's important to remember that your taste buds are still evolving (think returning) since stinkys cigs really nuked them. As my nursing friend likes to say"...Steve, your in detox for the first year..." and their is a lot of validity to that. During the day your "buds" also change, so please don't be reluctant to try the same juices after a meal or a hard workout or whatever you enjoy doing for fun.

Thx! I'm using Biotene Gel..nasty slime but taste wasn't all that bad from what I could tell. I've learned a lot these past 8-9 days! My vaping experience has been one hell of a ride to say the least but haven't given up or given back into analogs

I know several people who vape NIC only (no flavor) when their respective taste buds go wacko or their buds need a rest. More accurately, Halo's own Fusion has no flavor BUT you still get the NIC which should keep you off stinkys. It's also mixed with PG and VG and the formula is secret but it's around 50% PG/VG. Fill your tank and vape. No flavor BUT your NIC fix. What's not to like!

Someone here on ECH said they had some fresh jalapeños one night and their gaper's tongue was gone. I coincidentally did the same thing (I like jalapeños, so it wasn't that out of the ordinary for me) and my taste buds were very sharp for a few days afterward.

Give it a shot if you like them.

Taste buds change after quitting smoking. After giving up cigarettes 4 months ago, the juices that I started on dont taste the same anymore. I still like them, but don't taste the same. Tiki Juice has changed so much for me. It didn't taste anything like the commonly reported spiced tobacco/clove to me; I thought it tasted like cherry coke on the inhale and vanilla coke on the exhale. Four months later, it tastes like spiced tobacco with some clove and a few other spices.

This would def be the way 2 go! I'm putting an order in w/Halo today and adding more Fusion. I had a sample bottle of it in 24mg and didn't even think to use it during the vape tongue time! DUH!

I was cracking up reading this! Thanks for the laugh this morning!!! If this were me and I was tasting cherry coke/vanilla (YUM!!!) and it changed to cloves (I do NOT like cloves) I would be so sad at the new flavor so good thing you still like it! That's quite a swing of taste!

I will CRY if the ones I like now change! When I first tried Prime, my eyes lit up! I was like WOW, but questioned if I was tasting what it was suppose to taste like. I had to run to the IPad and look up the description on Halo's web page! LOLOLOL

Besides taste buds changing, did you change nic level at all? I heard sometimes a different nic level will change flavor. Not sure if that's w/halo juices or others or where I read that.
