While we are on this subject:

I have a reg auto that I LOVE......last night it quit working...no LED, nothing.

When I plug it in to charge the batt doesn't blink and the charger turns red and stays red.

Is it a goner.....anything I can try. It is about 2 months old, but I rotate it with about 6 others and mods....so it should have some life left.

Thanks!

UPDATE!!!

Ok....so I rolled some tissue into a tiny point and poked in the hole some and found some juice....did this over and over.....took off ash cap and poked a little there too....then I shook it hard like a thermometer.

Plugged it in to charge....no led and charger red. Now it has turned green....so I hook up a carto and vape. It works!, but it won't stop until I unscrew the carto. No led light at all. Battery seems to be heating up some at the led end. Any idea if I can salvage this battery?....or something else I can try?

ALL COMMENTS WELCOME!:D:D

Ok...I blew into the hole over and over pretty hard. Then I took off the ash cap again and looked. There is a plastic wrapper around the edge of the little circuit board that had a few drops of moisture. I took a pin a gingerly scraped around just underneath the wrapper. I hit something and the led lit up, then off. Sucked on the batt and it seems to come on and off correctly. Hooked up a carto and vapes normally and goes off, but then starts blinking like it is dead and then batt stops working like it is dead.

So...it is back on the charger. It blinked 3 times but charger was red as soon as I screwed it in....I'm staying in the room with it now....doesn't seem to be as hot as before.

I'm hoping.......Thanks for your comments A....we'll see what happens!

My wife and I had battery probs 2 weeks on new batts from V4L. 2 were DOA and 3 popped and buffed smoke as soon as we plugged them into the charger. V4L sent us new ones and we returned the bad ones with the RMA from V4L. So far no probs with the replacement batts (fings crossed and knocking on wood). Maybe there was a bad batch of Chinese batts? What that can't happen, right? Everything from China is of the highest quality....
