As some of you know, I have been thinking about getting a REO...and I was going to save it until I got my first 'degree relevant' full time job...but now I've been thinking about a 'Premature REOization.' I'll have a 45 - 60 minute commute each way. I use to chain smoke in the car...now I tend to 'chain vape' (in quotes because it's not total chain vaping, but more like the old time frame from smoking...vape for a few minutes, put it down for twice that...vape for a few minutes...etc) - force of habit. A 6ml bottle would be awesome. I love my flavor rda's, but it's a royal pita to drip & drive. I love my Subtank Mini, but the tank isn't really big enough for a commute, day at work, and a commute, but the Subtank & Subtank Plus would be too big for my Vapor Flask and I (personal choice - lol). So...do I want to do a 'Premature REOization?' Here's what I was thinking about:

REO: LP Reo Grand - Black Wrinkle & Metalic Blue (although, the all Metalic Blue is pretty nice and would go nicely as a PSU grad!)
Atomizer: Not sure...suggestions? There's the LP Reomizer and the RM2...what's the difference?
Eventually I would like to get one of my RDA's modded for the REO, but I want to start with something simple first.
Extras: I was planning on getting an extra spring, extra bottle ('cause flavors!), but should I get extra O-rings? Or a 'repair kit'?
Batteries: I know they suggest the AW IMR button tops, but are the flat tops ok? Like the VTC4's? (I mean, I can order the AW IMR's, but I have some flat tops here)

Is there anything else I am missing? I know I'm going to be spending $$ on this, but...I've got that hesitation...Should I do it? AAARGH!!! What does everyone think?

You're so silly...you're asking Reonauts should you buy a Reo now:D

The answer is..of course!.... Now to get serious..

I'd advise getting an LP Reo grand as you'll probably want to get into all kinds of RDAs., including larger size bases. The LP ( low profile) Rm2 or 3 will be a perfect fit. The RM2..non LP will not fit snug, a lot of the base will show.

To save on shipping, I'd suggest getting all of the extras...you probably will never need them but it's better to be safe rather than sorry.

For me...the AW IMR's are the recommended batteries...again, better to be safe than sorry.

Oh...and a stipulation here...

you MUST post a pick when you get it:D

BTYW..the initial cost seems like a lot, but you'll have a mod that is virtually indestructable and will last your lifetime and a few others.

I'd say get it now :p But I'm already biased from my move to Reoville haha. Assuming funds allow, you seem to want it bad enough now.

The Reo sounds good and I agree about the metallic blue. Not sure about the atty portion of the thread.
I would say at least an extra spring, but you get 2 bottles with your Reo from the beginning. Just depends on how many flavors you switch between. Repair kit could be nice to have laying around just in case, I know when I get my third Reo, I'll get a repair kit just in case.

I've used flat tops and a lot of people seem to. I like the AWs a lot though now that I started to use them. I used flat top Samsung 25Rs and MXJO's.

I had that feeling when I received my paypal invoice for my purchase. Should I or shouldn't I. I hovered the curser over the send button for a few minutes. I kept having this nagging voice in my head.

Super_x_drifter's voice: "You'll love it when you get it, you won't use anything else. It'll be the best thing you have vaped on"

Haha :p but the day I received the Reo in the mail, I knew pressing send to finish the transaction was the best thing I have ever done.

Get it dude. Dripping and driving isn't only frustrating, it's not safe. You owe it to yourself and everyone else on the road to buy a REO NOW not later

Though there's some seriousness in that statement it wasn't meant to sound harsh in any way but funny. I say do it if you've got the money dude - you won't regret it at all. As far as attys, depends...do you mouth to lung and like a lot of flavor? The RM2 (which is the same thing as LP Reomizer) fits that bill. If you like lung hits, there's several other attys on Rob's site that have AFC, or you can hit up catfish atty mods for bottomfed versions of normal drippers.

Highly recommend button top batteries...but yes, flat tops will work. They're much more prone to arcing though.

Do it, do it, do it

I came back to vaping with a DNA 30 and a Kayfun Lite clone. Within 2 months I bought a REO and now have 3 between my wife and I. I do not regret switching to the REO. I generally use 2 batteries per fill up at 1ohm vaping on the RM2 low profile. I refill using the ketchup style squeeze bottles and it takes less than a minute and waste very little. Maintenance is about as easy as it can get for rebuildables. Overall, going to the REO is about convenience to me. As far as costs I use ITC liquid $20 per 120ml, and may DIY but am very happy with their liquids' taste and price.

Atomizer I tried the cyclone out at first, but prefer the LP Reomizer (RM2). I would suggest buying at least six bottles as they are cheap and nice to have. O-rings are not needed. An extra spring is very good to have. Flat tops work fine although you may want button tops for a short throw, I use Samsung's.

Yeap dripping and driving is a pain, you'll love the Reo in the car, solves the hoping for a red light so you can drip problem..

The LP Reomizer is the one you want for the LP Grand. Both will work, the LP will look better. Here's and RM2 on the left and LP Reomizer on the right, both mounted on LP Grands.

Bro, unless you live in another country, I wouldn't even worry about a rebuild kit with these new indestructible 510 connections.

Only a firing pin and some springs is all you'll want as cheap insurance. You'll prolly never need them if you have em either :)

I say get 2 mods and you can thank me later :)

You are about to be a very happy vapor! Great choices there.

Rob ships on Monday, so expect your mod Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. Make sure someone is home as you have to sign at delivery.

Let the mail person stalking begin...

Pics when you get it or it didn't happen...

I have vaping stuff sent to a friend's house partly because she's almost always home and partly because my Dad is nosy as all sith. I really should just get a PO Box and be done with it. lol
