I've been thinking about trying out the "new concept" dripper i saw on Heavens Gifts, uses a metallic wafer instead of a coil. Has anyone tried it?

https://www.heavengifts.com/product/NCR-Nicotine-Reinforcer.html

Looks different, i wonder if you can make wafers from stock material or if i have to buy them premade?

Anyway, let me know what you think.

It's an interesting concept, for sure. I have no idea how it might vape, and I'd imagine that some parts would need replacing, but I don't drip (at least not deliberately, I have dripped ejuice but not into a dripper) I am guessing I will pass, though it is kind of neat.... I think it's pretty new, yes?

I think you Should Get One. And then come back and Tell Us how it works.

BTW - In this 4x Vid with that Funky Bass Line, Doesn't it look like the Ramp-Up Time is Kinda Slow?

Something that Plagued the Altus RTA.

The website said i should use a mod that has a preheat setting, witch is no problem

I'm guessing that Pre-Heat would almost be a Must. But will have to wait until someone actually has one to know for sure.

So someone needs to Take One for the Team. And do a Real User Review on it.

Something similar came out a year or two ago in tank form. Can't remember the company. Got decent flavor reviews. Didn't take off for some reason.

It was called the Altus RTA. I Fat Fingered the name in my Earlier post.

IMO, It never really got off the ground because of 3 Reason...

1 - It had a Veeery Long Ramp-Up Time.
2 - There was Drama about the Coating coming off the Heating Element.
3 - It was Very Expensive.

Well, tried them out.

The rda: awsome clowds and SO much easier to wick. No threading the wick through the coils and worrying if it is too loose or too tight.

The ramp up time was not nearly as bad as the video implied, i have made coils that were much worse.

As an older vaper, i would say this is ideal for the lazy or grey haired dripper, as there is a whole lot less hassle getting things set up. Time will tell on the life of the wafer, but it looks easy to change. So maintaining it and rewicking look easy.

All around A+ for first time use.

Good to hear that you are liking this RDA.

What does Heating Element ohm out at? And about what type of Watts do you like it with?

How is the Taste?
