OK so i am using a cartomizer tank right now and i do like it but i am thinking about switching to a Rebuildable atomizer and need some help deciding what to go with. What kind would be best for a person new to rebuildable atomizers. was looking at the AGA T Genesis rebuildable is it a good one or should i go with a different one. :) [h=2][/h]

I vape RBAs exclusively after just less than 2 months since the day i started.

My advice? DO IT. Many will tell you they are difficult, i for one will tell you they are not. And im nowhere near an electrical engineer or anything like that. Circuitry knowledge i learned when i was 12 was more than enough.

I also have a Crystal Mini eGo I keep it filled with my coffee flavor for my morning vape I like it. will check out the ones you said too.

Yup.

Rebuildables aren't really hard at all. You'll need some practice with the first few builds to get them to wick right and burn evenly without hotspots, but after a few builds you'll be making setups that get better and better.

I have an aga t, aga t2, & a couple of DID clones. Aga's are a little wider 23mm DUDs are a little slimer 18mm. They all work well once you figure out how to set them up.

I would recomend the aga t2, it has the best quality build of the low end clone market, (glass tank, oring top cap to adjust for wick alignment and hardware that comes with seems to be better quality too)

Just bare with it, watch tons of videos on how to build them, once you get it ... Its awesome.

The AGA-t works really well, but it is big and heavy. I always had problems with it falling over. If you like to drip at all I'd suggest picking up a pheonix. It doesn't have a tank, but it's one of the easiest to wick with mesh and it works great.

Also if you have any old Kanger T3 or Vivi nova atomizers you can rebuild them pretty easily. I've had luck rebuilding both with cloth wick and I've replaced the Kanger with stainless steel mesh. They make for some of the lowest cost rebuildables out there. Pbusardo has some good instructions for rebuilding Vivi novas and the Kanger is basically the same.

For a first RBA, I'd recommend something along the lines of a Phoenix clone or Rainbow/Wyvern. My reasoning:

1. Silica is much more forgiving when it comes to wrapping your first coils than mesh and virtually anything else
2. They're dirt cheap ($8-$15) so you're not out much if you discover it's not for you
3. Flavour and vapour are significantly better than cartos, so you get an idea of what makes rebuildables more appealing while having something versatile enough to try different wick material and wire combos before jumping to the more complicated and costly options
4. They're drippers so you don't have to worry about wasting a lot of juice during the inevitable trial and error period

Watch as many videos as you can find for whichever RBAs you go with and be prepared to go through a lot of supplies on your way to building a good setup.

I have a few rebuildable atomizer clones, but I mostly use carto tanks, because I really don't like the hassle of constantly dripping. That being said, I got a Drunker Tank, and am in love! Holds a good 2-3mls, has replaceable coils should you find you don't like rebuilding coils, $15. I also like the Dream, but find the draw a bit airy.

One word of caution. I never suggest a RBA for an eGo or spinner type battery. It only takes one problem and those batteries are toast.

I like the A7's the best. The bottom air flow makes all the difference in the world IMO. But, that's just me and YMMV. That's an A7 Mini smoking away in the avatar pic.

I totally agree about the eGo, but I'm pretty sure the Spinner has short circuit protection. I know the Twist is supposed to have it also.

For a tank style RBA I would recommend the AGA-T2.
For a dripper style RBA I would recommend the IGO-L.

Both are solid SS work horses. Both are capable of producing thick clouds of tasty, flavorful vapor.
Youde Technologies which manufactures both is undoubtedly putting out the best Chinese devices currently.
You will be hard pressed to beat the performance for the price of either.
