It seems that the kits are a better deal unless you only need one battery. I just ordered one tonight on e smokey treat. Starter kit inc. 2 batts, 2 atomizers and I think a 5 pack of prefilled carts with a wall/usb charger. I also ordered another 5 pack of blank carts and with shipping (8) it came to 75 bucks.

Also keep the Riva on your radar while you're shopping. It's essentially the same thing, with a slightly better button, and the battery is a smidge bigger than the standard eGo (750 mAh vs 600 mAh). And it will also use all your 510 parts. I agree with the previous poster as far as a kit. It may still be cheaper to buy a battery and the cone, though it's easier to just get a kit.

I was looking to buy Riva, I think EM Riva is best you can get.
If you are planning to buy lots of stuff, it makes sense to order from EastMall.

If you are going to buy just starters kit, than it makes not sense to pay expensive shipping from China and wait few weeks.

I know two US suppliers who sells EM Rivas for about same price:
The Riva : VaporJunction, E-Cigarette Supply - $49.95 + shipping
EM Riva Starter Set (Black) - $52.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce - $52.99 shipped

I don't know much about those suppliers [I think they both registered with ECF] - you will have to check them on your own.

is there a good website for the riva kits?
Check out the comparison on the Riva and eGo first...not bashing the Riva at all but a lot of people would recommend the eGo over it. Might help if someone on here who has both devices could chime in on this one as to the advantages/disadvantages. But as for the eGo Greenhouse One has a kit for 50 bucks, but health cabin sells their stuff at real good prices that most can't match, might be worth checking into. On the ECF forum main page scroll down to buying and selling to see if there are any good sales other than what I posted. Also there is a link that is the mastery code for most of the suppliers that I will link you it has coupon codes that will save you a little bit off your purchase. I saved it to my favorites on my pc because it is always handy to have. Here it is https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AXQuWOYlCSL1ZGc1NHZjdHNfN2Riemc4Mnc3&hl=en The main thing you are going to need is the eGo charger because you can't use the 510 charger on eGo batteries.I also got the adapters so I can try different atty's and carts on mine it's like getting to try them all without having to individually buy each kit. When you get the eGo if you are able get the XL/ Mega batteries they come in 900, 1000, and now some vendors have 1300 mah, they last even longer and have better performance...I love mine..and last the XL/Mega/eGo atomizer, carts, and cartomizers...they are awesome and the carts hold a lot of liquid. Goodprophets and madvapes also have a lot of this stuff too..

I have both the Riva and eGo and I give the edge to the Riva. The battery lasts a little bit longer and I prefer the button. And while 'lemons' do happen, one of my eGo batteries died an early death after a month (a month in which it was in a rotation with the other eGo battery and two Riva batteries, so not even 30 charges on it). Other than that, they vape pretty much the same.
