Thinking about trying the Kayfun, but is the Russian 91 a blatant knock off?

I'm sure a design patent here would potentially protect ownership, but its not like any of these guys have enough money to properly sue some factory in China. And lets face it, copyright on physical products is practically a joke in Asia.

Unfortunately patents, trademarks and copyrights can take years, by then it's too late.

It must be awful expensive and time consuming to enforce patents on an international basis. Wonder how similar patent laws are around the globe?
