Here goes...

I started out succesfully with a Joye 510 kit blahblahblah.. oldnews...

Im learnin the ropes now and findin out what i like and what works for me. The Joye510 seems like it might be the Toyota iof the vaping world, reliable, dependable and hard to kill. You can always count on it.

Buuut im thinking of upgrading just to celebrate my new found luv of vaping !! heehe!

Im thinking that i want the same deal i got, just more beefy, and im thinkin this is just what the doc ordered...

Joye EgO 650 mAh- $22
Joye LR (1.5ohm) Atty-$8
Aaaand some 510 Cartomizers- $9 (pack-o-5)

Sooo for 40 bux i could have somthing i could possibly use as a treat once in awile and just stick to my ol' reliable most of the time!! since it produces killer vapor and taste as it is!!

I dont really wanna mod anything (yet) but just wanted to see what my Joye510 on roids would be like.

Any advice or suggestions on this what so ever would be kewl. :D

you'll need a charger for the ego batts , the regular 510 charger will not charge them properly.

Why do you say that?

I have to ask, because with my eGo Fast charger dead, I'm charging my eGoXL batt with a std 510 USB charger. I'm right now at more than 10 hours vaping on a charge, and I go through a std. 510 batt in 2 hours.

okok sooo im hearing that what im suggesting for myself on the upgrades gets a thumbs up overall.

But ive heard some beef on the eGo charger, do i need a "eGo" charger or can i use my reg. 510 batt. charge?

And also a "cone" wtf is a cone and how does it improve my Vapinf experiance? ~Capn~

I'm not a big fan of the eGo cone to be honest. I find the vape to be much harsher with the cone on and this is something I don't particularly appreciate. I leave it off almost all the time. I do appreciate the extra battery life of the eGo and also was able to resurrect some clogged atty's on the eGo battery. It seems to have a bit more oomph than the standard 510 battery.

You may nave realized that you can't use LR atomizers with any cartomizers,

In addition, you need pay only $15 to purchase genuine ego batteries from Tasty Vapor (see Vendor's Forum).

I would only add that I am (IMHO quite satisfied with a (hearty) 3.7 volt vape, but, as always, YMMV.

Best of luck!

I love my eGo, but if you want the right chargers, extra battery, etc, it'll likely cost you more than $40.
I switch back & forth with my KR808D-1 XL just because of it's convenience & 5 hr battery life on constant vaping. I get as much vapor, the cartomizers last longer between refills, no atty to clean and you can get a set for $30, leaving a few bucks for cartos:
