I started with a rebuildable tank atomizer - the lemo then moved on to an rda - the plume veil. Both are pretty easy to build on once you get the hang of it and both have amazing air flow, flavour and vapour. Rip trippers has some videos on these products and how to build them if you're interested. I guess I can't post links yet but it's riptrippers.com.

If your after flavor and looking for a rebuildable Tank atomizer I really recommend you go with something that's going to give you the flavor you are after and a easy build. The two I recommend starting with are the kayfun or Taifun. Both are exceptionally easy to build and are real flavor producers! The taifun is a flavor monster! Get the taifun GT2. It's not expensive and it's the newest one. It's a straight foward single coil build and wicking is fairly easy. Whatever you get I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you going to YouTube and search for a video tutorial of building that deck. It will give you STEP BY STEP video instruction on how to build it correctly. A example would be, say you purchased a taifun. You would go to YouTube and search "building the taifun Gt 2" then pick a video you like and it will walk you through the Entire build. Winding through wicking. I've been building for almost a year now and I still when I get a new tank like to watch the build video for that particular tank to find way tips, watch the filling and wicking, and familiarize myself with that new tank. I really hope this helps. Best wishes

Hi jonah and welcome to ECF!

I have no idea of your experience with building coils or what device you are using, so forgive me if I'm asking "newb" questions of an experienced person.
  1. What device are you going to be putting the RBA on?
  2. What is your past experience with building coils?
  3. Are you familiar with ohm's law and its ramifications for vaping?
  4. What batteries are you using (make and model)?
  5. What ohms are you wanting to build your coils at?
  6. Any particular reason for the above answer?
  7. Have you read up on battery safety?
  8. Do you know the difference between Max Discharge and Continuous and which you should be using?
For info on batteries Baditude has several excellent blog posts on the subject. His blogs on battery safety are a must read before you venture into the world of sub-ohm vaping.

Reliable sources for batteries:
Batteries-Chargers-Flashlights-Only The Best
Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor
Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!

Do not buy batteries from eBay or Amazon. Some of their third party sellers sell fakes.

... and finally, here's a link that explains things in pretty simple terms: Vaping Battery Safety & Ohms Law Illustrated and explained in very simple terms

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Thanks for all the advice! I was looking at the plume veil & the dark horse dripper. I have been vaping around a year now but I haven't had a RDA. I work all day so I didn't want to be messing around with dripping all the time. But ... I had a vape on a friends dark horse dripper on the sigelei 100w device and it blew me away. The flavour was amazing & the clouds were much thicker than the Atlantis. I would be putting a rda on the smok xpro65 & running a samsung 18650 in it. I have looked at the efest batteries are they any good?

I prefer the Samsung 25R's over the Efest. They both are 2500mah 20A CDR batteries.

Purple Efest Batteries not as Advertised
* A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes a commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.

My first RDA was a plume veil clone. I've never bought another one, it's just that good and super simple to build on. It got me ready for the Lemo, which is an RTA. I only paid about 25 bucks for it.
All depends on the clone. My Tobeco is a piece of junk. What are you using?

Sounds like you need a bottom feeder mod. A dripper without the need to drip since it feeds from a reservoir below. Just squonk
