The UK adapter will not work in the USA. Wasn't sure if you understood that or not.

I wouldn't get the kit, the charger and batteries are questionable. Just get the standalone VAMO, a decent charger (actually fasttech just listed XTARs, they're the highest rated) and some good IMR batteries...

I would spend the $58.85 & get the kit with a Nitcore charger & decent batteries. Then get yourself some 18350's for use in the short mode.

I could NOT find what I considered a great shorter battery on FastTech - so I went and got AW IMR 18490's from RTD Vapor for when I want my SVD to be a little smaller...

Hope I don't confuse you more. I can't tell what type of batteries those are. The charger is the one I use. Some complain about it.. other say it's great. It works for me for a month with no issues.

The batteries may be fine but they just read as sony's.
