well a couple of them actually

there are a lot of things that are very appealing, one of the biggest is the flavours, but there's a couple of questions I have that I can't really find elsewhere online

first, do they have an on/off switch or something? how does one activate them

second, do the e-cigs work in cigarette holders? you know like these?
(yeah I like using these things)

Welcome to ECF

You get auto ecigs (just suck and a vacuum switch closes) and a manual ecig (you press a button to close the circuit.

As far as the second Q - they may work depending on the size of the end attachment. Cartos can vary in size considerably. If that does appeal to you then do a search for a gooseneck.

I'm new at this myself but I would say manual PVs absolutely do have an on/off switch. They will say manual or automatic (automatic means no need to hit a switch while vaping).

I don't the answer to your second question but I'm guessing "no".

Most manual batteries do not have a dedicated on/off switch. I actually own no mods with one(minus one that has a locking button).

Usually the ones with on/off switches are box mods but the provari, buzz and infinity pro, and lava tube have dedicated on/off features.

Blue OG Buzz/Silver Vein Alpha/Green and Black Reo Mini FTW

I really dont think they will work. Several ecig models are close to real cigs, but the diameter is just a little bigger. Then you have the issue of either needing to suck threw that whole thing to turn it on...Or holding it really funny to push the button.

However..you might look into XL 510's...

Then add the XL 510 attys to it

None of us knows if they will fit in the cigarette holder.

As others have said, no electronic cigarettes are really as slim as a cigarette.
So I guess it depends on how flexible the opening on the cigarette holder is.

And even if they did, you would have to get an automatic battery, which are hard enough to use as it is.
There is no way of telling what impact having to drag through one of those things would have on the function of the automatic battery.

Are you wanting to use one of those cigarette holders for aesthetic reasons?
Or is it to keep the "smoke" as far away from your face as possible?

oh it's completely asthetic, always thought the stem holders were elegant and cool, in truth its the reason I took up smoking to begin with, just so I could use one

I think the problem you're going to run into with the cigarette holders you like using is with the weight, not the diameter or whether they will fit. Any e-cigarette you get has a battery in it and weighs quite a bit more than an actual cigarette does. Even if you get it to fit into one of those holders, unless you hold it by the e-cigarette (instead of the holder) it will probably just topple out due to it weighing too much to be supported by the cigarette holder. You may be able to find one that fits, but it would be kind of useless since you'd have to hold it by the e-cig to support the weight anyway.

Your best bet is to try and find some attachments or stems that make the e-cig you choose look, similar.

If the reason you like the cigarette holder is more function than form (longer stem=longer time it takes to get the smoke to your mouth & lungs, making for cooler smoke) you can get the same effect by trying out atomizers/cartomizers with different resistances to cool down the vapor. It would give the same effect as the cig-holder, but without the long stem.

Speaking from experience, (and anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here) almost EVERYONE starts out with a tiny 180 - 380 mAh battery usually automatic cigarette clone. Because they think that the closest to the real thing will be the best to get them off analogs, and it works a staggering % of the time. However after 2 weeks, or a month, NEARLY everyone swaps up to something bigger and better and almost always a manual button, because you get better hits off a manual, and most of the time the bigger mAh ( 650, 900, 1000+) are manual switches, and once they get one of those, most people (myself included) wishes they hadn't wasted the 50 - 60 bucks on the small analog clone kit. If I could send myself a message in the past, it would be 1. switch to vapeing sooner lol. and 2. skip the small automatic stage and go right for the upgraded more satisfying 3.7 V vapeing experience. Either way, whatever you get will almost certainly work. I've noticed that most of the time, those that vapeing doesn't work for are usually those that didn't have a very open mind going into it to start with.
