Ive actually been relying on PBusardo for all the reviews, have subscribed to his youtube channel too. Very thorough with everything. Loved the tour through provape, that's why I want the provari lol
I'll give my :2c: and also recommend a "kayfun-style" RBA. Yes, authentic Kayfun Lite Plus's are $100+. But there are decent clones available starting at $35 if you know where to look.

I have been an avid cartotank user for almost 2 years. I went back to using them after giving Genesis-style RBA's a shot. Since getting my Kayfun Lite + I still keep a cartotank in reserve, but use the Kayfun as my all-day vape. A Kayfun is like a cartotank on steroids.

Even your PBusardo's favorite combo is a Kayfun Lite Plus on a Provari. As he has access to nearly any mod and topper currently on the market, I find that this speaks volumes that the combo is one of the best on the market.

Is anybody else looking into DIY for the future. Possible cost increases and unknown of availability.
I've been tinkering with DIY for about a year now. I purchased 1000 ml of flavorless 24mg nicotine pg/vg and some concentrated flavorings. So far I have just been making simple fruit and menthol flavors, diluting the nicotine concentration with straight vg to make 12 or 6 mg.

Check out the DIY supplies at My Freedom Smokes & Wizzard Labs.

Hello , I am thinking of going to a Provari for my ultimate pv. I have been vaping for a month now and started of course with the ego starter kit, then that same week I went and got a vision spinner to try vv. About 3 weeks in I got the Innokin itaste MVP 2.0. So I have been cig free for over 30 days now and I have been doing some research and from what I can tell the Provari is the "Cadillac" of pv's. I want the best now and I plan on only spending this much money only once so I want to get the best, I can use all my others for back up but I want at least one that is top of the line. Its 5/24/14 as of today and if I get the Provari for father days are they just going to turn around and come out with something better? should I wait or just get it now or what?

Even though I'm very new to the forum, I thought I would post because our situations are similar. I quit smoking on May 4th and my brother started me off with the basic ego-T. I really, really enjoy using it because it's small and I can slide it right in the front pocket of my purse and go.........BUT.......I could tell that I wanted something made much better. I started reading and asking questions just like you and since it was my birthday and DH had no idea what to get me, I asked him for a Provari Mini. I am soooooooooooooo, soooooooooooo pleased.

Now, you are listening to someone who has never built a coil, nor wants to (not yet, anyway), likes different flavors but hasn't gotten the right stuff to start dripping yet (was using the wrong dripping atomizers and am waiting for the right ones), and who simply wants the flavor and not have to think too much. I was so worried about the VV thing and not understanding ohms and watts and resisitance........but, have to tell you that the menu is so easy and I'm basically doing the +2 method and it's working out great (I did download the instruction manual and in about 5 minutes I was all set up and ready to go).

The only thing that I was a bit bummed about was all I had were 510 clearos and they won't fit on top.....but, luckily I had just ordered 2 that were a mistake! Yay me! Now I"m waiting on a small adapter from Provape so that I can simply change those out, too.

I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. I'm impressed with how fast it was shipped (Ordered it a Sat. night and got it the following Thursday). I'm impressed with how much help I get here and I wouldn't change a thing. So from one newbie to another, I say go for it!!!

Sorry that I got a bit long-winded, but I thought maybe it would help knowing that another newbie is having success with a Provari and loving it. And for the record..........When the new one comes out, guess who will be ordering that one???

Here's my little emerald mini!

go for it....if you are a dedicated vaporist.....buy the good stuff. it will save you a lot of money in the long run... this is from experience. then of course there is DIY liquid and wick and wire builds :D . it costs me less than 2 cents each to rewick each day on 3 devices and less than 5 cents to re-coil and wick each every week... its right there in front of you... go for the good stuff.. I think you mean eGo threaded clearos.

Regarding direct dripping, have you seen my blog? It might be helpful to you:

I just didn't wanna bother with it at first. I was building robots all day and messing with electronics from 8 am till 11 o'clock at night the last thing I wanted to do was build my ecig. When I noticed how much you could customize it and how much cheaper it is than replacing kanger or aspire could I was all in! Now when I'm bored at night I'll just sit here and wrap coils and save them for later.

You are right!!! See, I'm so new that I don't quite know what specifics everything is. I just knew that my brother told me to order 510 theads when getting them.........Thanks for the correction! I appreciate it!

Don't think ill get into dripping but rebuilding coils I think im excited to get to that.

Dripping just isn't for me; several reasons. I've tried it with some of my friends mods; and, it is enjoyable. It's just not my thing, too messy, and I work around electronics all day, my mod site in my lap or in my shoe all day, don't wanna wear the juice. I don't like genesis style attys for the same reason. That's why I love the kfuns so much; just pure flavor IMHO; and, no mess! They may not put out the same amount of vapor as a driller or a genesis but the flavor is allot better and with the right build just as warm!

You'll thoroughly enjoy the kayfun then. I used to smoke 2 packs a day and a cigar about every other night. The kayfun satisfies me perfectly! My fiancé used to smoke half a pack a day and she finds it to hit a little to hard for her; and prefers the aerotank. The best part of an RBA IMHO is they since you're building the coil and wick you have complete control over the hit. If I built a single coil and closed the aircontrol valve on my kfl it would probable hit perfect for her; but, then she would steel one of my favorite toppers lol
