I have been using the standard ego with mega carts for over six months. I used to use a kr8 but found filling cartos to be a big pain in the rear. So now they just sit collecting dust.

It has been longer than six months since I have bought anything and have finally nearly broken even.

Can you guys point me to a thread that talks about advantages/disadvantages to the Ego-T? I did a search and either my search terms suck or I am just not searching right.

Also does anyone know the best place to buy attys and carts? I have read a little and heard some people say that some vendors sell cheaply made parts.

I was debating going through libertyflights, but don't know what the quality is like. I am happy with the mega attys and carts I bought.

I'll try to find the thread that explains it all, 1 sec.

Also I always bought my eGo-t stuff from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. , They have very good customer service and shipping is quick. I loved the eGo-t as my first true vape and it was so simple just filling up a couple tanks and going out for the day. The 1000mah batteries last a very long time so you might not need to carry two but I always did just to be sure. The atty on an ego-t has to be cleaned and maintained in my opinion to keep its vaping ability. I usually vape the same atty for 2 weeks and then I would run hot water through and blow the water/old juice so it comes out the battery connector side(repeat some more times). Let it dry overnight or however long you want because you can just pop on the next atty. Repeat. I've had an atty last for 2-3 months for my ego-t and vape great. I never tried the low resistance ones though and I only bought the type-a. I stopped using them after I bought some mods so I can't go into detail about the differences.

Sorry for the long run on sentences I hope it helps somewhat.

Liberty Flight and Cignot are both good vendors. I'd say equal quality. Cignot has a slight edge on quick shipping. I think Vicki bribes the postal service. :) I personally found the tank to reduce flavor and throat hit. The LR atomizer helps with that. There are a lot of people that will disagree with me on that.

However, I think the biggest problem with the tanks is the wick inside the atomizer. It's really finicky about placement. It's not that hard to adjust but, if you aren't the kind of person that will figure out how to get in there and adjust it, you will eventually have a problem.

I am not certain I will know about the wick placement problem, unless there are some instructions on the basic gist somewhere. One thing I haven't seen yet is how to fill the tanks.

Thank you so much for the info and the links. I am trying to comb through massive threads to see if I can find info on filling and the wicking thing mickeyrat talked about. I want to know as much as I can before I spend more money. I almost wonder if I should wait until they have had more time to grow and improve.

I was wondering which type is better, A or B. I believe I use type B for the mega on my current ego. While looking at liberty flights, I found that I can't figure out what type the starter kit comes with. For extra parts they are limited on the type B style.

Thanks guys for the video links. I better go to youtube and see if I can find some more instruction videos.

I hate that my initial purchase, when starting vaping, was a ego-T. It was less than satisfying and, quite frankly, a disappointment. Mind you, I fiddled with wicks, figured out how to remove the wick barb plate and basically gave myself a full PhD in "Anatomy of Tank Attyology" only to be left discouraged about vaping and frustrated to no end by being foiled in my attempts to make functional a less than user-friendly apparatus.

If you like vapor and flavor without fiddling, headaches and frustration, leave the eGo-T alone.

My $.02

Uh oh, I hope the b ones don't have issues because I ordered some.

It's less of a problem than it used to be. I ordered a type A fairly early on and I think the manufacturer's quality control on wick placement wasn't up to snuff then. They've made some adjustments to that now. I'm still certain that if you use one long enough, you're going to run into it though.

All of that said, I won't criticize your purchase. I hope you love it as so many others have and you probably will.

Ok, the attys and tanks arrived today. That was super quick which is great because filling cartos for my kr8s was becoming a pita (I think both my mega ego attys are dead). I was wondering what I saved my kr8s for, and now I know. For when something else dies on me.

Anyway my ego batts are not charged, go figure, so I will have to let you all know what I think after my sons soccer game and a battery is charged.
