Well, you will really want to try it with a small experiment first before you dedicate your whole bottle of juice to this.

First issue is that it does not take twice the quantity of flavoring to double the flavor you taste, so what I think you are attempting will probably not work the way you think it will.

The second is VG varies in viscosity. I've used about a gallon of the stuff in the last 9 months of various labels and it is all a bit different in thickness. A couple that I have used would be fine for most PV setups at 50/50, but the majority would need a little thinning.

It depends how much TH you want and maybe whether or not you are using it in some kinds of cartos.

50/50 cuts TH more than ratios like 70pg/30vg or 80pg/20vg

And 50/50 should be Ok for most cartomizers, though maybe a bit thick for reservoir cartos like CE2's? Not sure but you have to fill them with a thin flexible syringe.

If you want more TH than 50/50 then cut the VG with PG first. You can buy PG at OneStopDIYShop and some other e-juice places.

Does VG need to be thinned before mixing with double flavored PG juice from Viking Vapor?:confused:

I have never found it does for me. I like a little thicker mix. the pg cuts the thickness some on the vg mix. I just use a few drops of water if it is too thick. works well for me.

My vg is very thick a gloopy so I cut it with ten percent de-ionised water when I get it I use mostly VG in my mixes. If I used mainy PG then I would not bother. The finished liquid will be the proof and you will get a feel quickly. Use a ready made you like the vapour production of as a compare. Weaker flavours are best with a little more PG I find like pear and watermelon. The VG needs a little more it steals some of the flavour. As we all taste diffrently and our taste changes quite a bit it will take a week or to before you are really satisfied with a mix as has been said do little mixes and add flavour sparingly. You can add but not take away. I have some double strength flavours and a chilli extract and they need to be added drop by drop as they are so strong. Good luck mixing take your time and enjoy keep some notes and you will not go to far wrong. If it tastes real bad toss it out to many bottles of bad mixing hanging around will make you feel bad and we all have made a load of rubbish at the start.

I use the opposite of Woman of heart, I use PG with nicotine and VG as my filler. But it want work at 50/50, its too thick. But using VG with nicotine allows the PG to do the thinning for you. ;-)
As high as I can go is about 38% and it want soak into my cartomizer filler material. Plus if ur using 100% PG nicotine the less ull be using to thin the VG anyway, so drop back to 60%..This will allow you to use more PG..

Trapdog - that should work, as long as what you like to vape is 50/50

And if you wanted a different PG/VG ratio (for rough example since I am not a calculator)... if you first cut the plain VG 50/50 with plain PG, then mixed that 50/50 with your double strength PG juice, then you would end up with approximately 75pg/25vg 18mg ejuice. (which is right around what I usually vape - 70/30 or 80/20)
