Help me!!!!

Ordered Over 100 bucks worth of e-juice from bluemist vaping and viking vapor and because i didnt understand the pg vg things I got 100 percent vg with double flavor and 32 mg nic. Im stuck with harsh flavorless stuff i thought i could cut with more vg and would taste good. I am ordering a 30 ml bottle of pg from viking vapor hoping to rectify my whole situation. i got good flavors too!! ry#4 and waffle and carmel tobacco. will i be able to fix this with pg? I have the sweetener its just not adding the sweetness i thought it would...​

maybe I'm unclear on what you are trying to describe... first things first, you should get your post count up over 5 and ask again in the diy juice forum.

but meanwhile here's what I think is going on....

you have several bottles of e-juice that are 32mg nicotine, 100%vg, and double the flavor -- right so far?

you say the product is "harsh" and yet "flavorless" at the same time? This is the part where I got lost.

If you mix what you have 50/50 with plain PG you will get 16mg nicotine, 50%pg+50%vg, and half as strong tasting.

I guess I'm wondering why you describe it as "harsh" and "flavorless" (especially since you say it's double the flavor) at the same time.

Well...

If there is not enough flavor, simply adding PG or VG won't do much. You'd be better off adding flavoring. Or, you get your post count up and head over to PIF and see if you can trade it there. Or you post it up for trade/sale in the Classifieds...but it's not like you haven't heard both of those suggestions before!

Also, how long have you had it on hand? The flavors will steep after it sits for a few days, so all is not yet lost.

If I'm reading this right you bought pure VG at 32mg right and bought the flavors? If it is unflavored it shouldn't be harsh? Of course, vaping at 32 mg is going to be harsh. I find that adding to much sweetner (ethyl maltol, anyway) makes it very harsh, a little goes a long way. You can either cut it with more VG or some PG will make it thinner. I use very little PG myself because I like more vapor and TH isn't high on list. What exactly do you need help with?

If you haven't cut it or added flavors the nic content will make it harsh to vape. You can either cut it with more VG (it will be thick but lots of vapor) or PG which will give it more TH, thin it a bit and less vapor. It is better to add flavoring after cutting it and also you need a bit more flavoring with VG rather than PG.

I think that whatever they bought is pre-mixed because they describe it as having "double flavor".

right i was trying to get a strong mix so i could cut it in half. so 36 mg double flavor would cut down to 18 mg regular flavor. now im not sure did the double flavor mean i could cut it in half and it would be regular flavor??? When i first started vaping we were diy ing with lorannes and some vg and vodka. seemed to work fine. now im seeing these sites when i order it 100 percent vg its just not coming out right. i think i will just cut it more with pg, in small batches, and see if i get better results... maybe i will have to add extra flavorings too. Now i have 30 ml belgian waffle 32 mg 100 percent vg double flavor>>>> How can I make it taste like the original belgium waffle with alower mg of nic. thanks

That's a tough one. I tried VG one time and I just hated it. Sorry I can't help you out -- sometimes what I do with the flavors I hated is add them as an "undertone" to something complimentary. Like I've been vaping a bunch of menthol lately so I started adding my old cherry and vanilla to it (just a tad!) and it turned out really good.

In order to make yours taste ok, you'd need to get the same flavors in PG but 0mg nic and mix them 50/50 or get the same flavors in PG but 9mg and mix them 25%the VG and 75%the PG - I think that would also make 18mg results, right?

or:

1 part: what you have
+1 part: plain PG (unflavored)
+2 parts: 18mg PG based liquid in the same flavor

=25%VG 75%PG, 18mg, regular strength juice in the same flavor.

Still kind of confusing but I think I agree with Rosa. I'm wondering if there might be a coincidental taste bud blitz if double flavor is tasting "flavorless." Sounds like you need to call your supplier and speak to an actual human to reconcile what you wanted to what you ordered. Figure out where the gap is and what you need to make it good.

To put it another way, here's what I would have done given what I think you were trying to accomplish: order equal quantities of the same flavor in 50/50 PG/VG with one bottle 0mg and the other 36mg. That way when you mix, the only variable is the nic quantity.

I've sort of done a variation of that myself. I like the thick vapor from VG but it doesn't work in cartos that well. I also vape high nic. The cartos give me a "weaker" hit than dripping. So I buy bottles of my favorite flavors in both 50/50 36mg and 100%VG 24mg. I put the 36mg in cartos and drip the 24mg. If I get a strong craving, I drip the 36mg a while instead. It never occurred to me to do double flavor and cut with straight PG/VG. Must be your DIY experience talking there

No BHB-I know it sounds that way, but it doesn't quite work out.
You can order a doubler(which is flavoring only) and then order a higher nic level, say 36mg in your choice of flavor. Now if you get an empty 10ml bottle and fill it 1/2 with the 36mg and half with the doubler you have 18mg liquid with undiluted flavor. both the doubler and nicotine e-liquid should be of the same flavor until you get the hang of it.
