I've checked over everything here at the house and its all fine and really didn't see any problems at all until I walked next door to the Sewage Treatment Plant. Man, there is sh.. laying around everywhere! It was like Christmas!! I found all kinds of things on the concrete pads around the edges of the pond that I can use. I don't see how people can flush away perfectly good stuff like they do. I wonder if its little kids who flush all that stuff away? Anyhow, its going to give me enough junk to have a Yard Sale and get a few more bucks together and all I have to do is wash it off with the hose a little bit first!
Its going to be close to 70 degrees today and maybe I'll surprise my wife and take her on a little picnic on that little hill overlooking the Sewage Treatment Plant. Its such a nice view of the water from there and we enjoy going up and just sitting and looking. Of course, I keep a sharp eye on the water in case anything floats up that I can use.
After we get back from that I can go out and take a nice nap on my plaid couch in the front yard that I have there in the weeds by the bass boat. I'll tell you, this retired life is alright.
And for you workaholics, just three more days until Monday! It will be here before you know it!!

LOL TT I want some of that heat. We remain in the deep freeze.
WOOT our new bed is coming this afternoon. Hubby plowed out back so they can bring it in the slider and I shoveled off the deck and out to where he plowed. Thankfully we don't have much snow.

First off, I'm glad that quake didn't harm ya TT. Woulda skeered the bejesus outta me for sure!!!
Wharf, I laughed so hard at your duck hunting story!!!! See? Those blasted birds traumatize innocent children I'm telling ya!
Ok one last bit of chickenism then I'll stop....Honest to God I wanted to tell you all about that awful stench that still permeates my nostrils, when my Uncle and Aunt boiled those chickens, feathers and all, but I thought my story was getting too long! Truly putrid stuff!!!
Now I must go for awhile, but hope to check back in later.

If it ain't a hurricane it's an ice storm...Hey I knew it was gonna be messy so I unplugged that dang alarm clock...OK...Ok...I lied...The alarm clock has been unplugged going on three years..I've only let Spike out for a 'business run' but there is a thin layer of ice/sleet on the deck...The news says the storm is just arriving so wish us luck...I'm heading out in a bit to warm the war wagon and survey the situation...I have heat aplenty that requires no power...Mom on the other hand does not....Bout way past tired of this boggan weather....

I was reading that if your gas cap isn't tight enough it could set off your light. What does that or a fan not working have a tinkers damn to do with emissions? It is just another way to con money out of us.
