Morning Sdh!!

Wow, I am impressed that you are tiling!!! I need to do something with my shower surround. It is looking like it needs to have the grout cleaned and resealed. No matter how I scrub, I am just not happy with it anymore.

I've toyed with the idea of covering the whole works with a Bath fitters type of surround but I think I like the look of tile best.

Anyways Sdh, I wish you well with the job from hell, and hope it goes quickly for ya!

Good morning guys (non-gender specific),

My gosh, all this talk about work almost has me totally wiped out and looking forward to my first nap!

I did have a real big job planned for today. I was going to clean out my sock drawer.

I wear white socks and black socks. That's it.

But over time, my wife had bought me ribbed black socks and I don't like those. She has also got me dark blue socks she thought were black. I don't like them either. And some of my socks ... well, its just time for them to go.

I had really hoped that at Christmas I would get enough socks to allow me to replace most of mine and usually at Christmas that's what I get.

This year, I got neckties. Neckties!!!

You know when I wear neckties?

Almost Never!

How about tying them all end to end and using them as a noose, to help you fish all the treasures out of that pond you speak of?

Mornin. Socks is what I got for Christmas. Told everyone, SOCKS. There isn't anything better than puttin on a new pr. of socks. Ties? I bought one of those clip ons in 1960 and still have it. Wore it once since then. The only other tie I wore was a purple one. I think my purple tie looks nice.

Hey Bov, I've recently discovered these wonderful candy bars called Skinny Cows. Have you heard of them? They are sooooooo good, especially the caramel ones! (to die for delicious!!)

Anyhoo, the wrapper is cow spotted, and features this cute little cow sprawled out with a tape measure. I giggle and think of you each time I have one.....which in all honesty is way too often. (Not that I think of you too often, just that I am eating too damn many of them!)
I may need a 12 step program....

If you haven't tried them...do....at your own risk of course!

I've grilled tons of lamb an the barbie and roasted whole lambs on a spit..... but never tried it smoked. LD did you use hickory or applewood ???

I didn't realize Skinny Cow made candy. I see their ice cream at the supermarket all the time and I'm afraid to buy it. It looks waaay too good.

That is what I've seen before too Lilac, just the ice cream. I've never bought any, and if this candy is any indication of things to come, I'm staying far far away from purchasing any!!! hahaha

I googled this candy earlier to try to post a pic for you all to see, and was surprised to see so many different kinds. Crispy, Peanut butter, wafers, clusters, etc. The candy I am raving about are just thin chocolates with some soft gooey caramel inside, 3 in a bar. I can't speak for any of the rest of it, and like I said I might just stay far far away from the rest of the line!!!
