Oh, oh.

The weather alert radio just announced that for the next hour we are going to have a line of severe thunderstorms passing through our County with winds in excess of 60 mph and possible tornados.

Usual East Texas report when its going to rain.

If I lose electricity and don't make it back on here you'll know what happened.

Hi, Bov. How did you come to be way out here?

About a hundred years ago (when I was about 18) I worked for a mud logging company out of Midland/Odessa. We did the mud logging geology work for oil drilling companies, taking samples out of the mud pits and keeping track of what type of formations the rig was drilling in. We'd set up on location in a little trailor and keep track of the gas spectrometer graphs to know how close we were getting to oil, natural gas pockets...or a dry well.

Hubby took advantage of the warmer day to fix his garage furnace. He jacked his oil tank up also and blocked it so any crap in tank doesn't go to the furnace. So after the carrying of stuff and the back and forth trips into the furnace room he is in pain from his hip down his leg. If we could do something about the damn sciatica I think he'd feel half way decent.
