As some of you know, my Dr had to change my blood pressure meds because my new insurance didn't want to pay for the one I've been taking and stable on for the last 9 years. I started the new med about 3 weeks ago, and it hasn't been working well. The past 2 weeks my pressures have been in the 180/100range :(

Had a Dr appt today, he upped my dose, but also put my mind somewhat at ease by informing me that my blood pressure machine is not reading correctly! My pressures at the Dr, taken 3 times over about 30 minutes were 140ish/90ish. Still a tad higher than we'd like, but not near as bad as I have been panicking over the past couple of weeks LOL!

Mike made me promise him I'd go to the Dr, and I'm grateful that he cares enough to want us all to be as healthy as possible!

I'm so glad your doing well Bo. This forum would be in a world of hurt if you weren't here to keep everything running smoothly. To the Ins. Co. we're just numbers. One time I had a skin graft that was ready to be done and they started meddling with the ins. Well the graft wasn't done so by the time they got done meddling it ended up costing them around 35 times the cost of the graft for operations and so on to get it ready to be grafted again. If they stuck to ins. and left medicine to the health care pros. it would cost a lot less in the end.

Fran it's good seeing you girl Oh and you too Tracy.
