Several years ago right before I retired the first time (it took me three tries) I was working in northern Russia and saw all of that stuff I ever wanted to see again. They had some unbelievable snowfalls there and some unbelievable temperatures.

I had a lot of winter clothes designed for sub-arctic weather and when I finished there I came home and gave it all to my brother in law for his deer hunting.

Then I went to the Saudi/Iraqi border area where its warmer and stayed there until I retired the second time.

I do hope Bo is okay. I'm getting ready to take JD for his walk. It's a nice sunny day here too last time I looked but it changes fast. Rice pudding is not in my vocabulary. I don't dislike it but I would choose Tapioca over rice .

We got hammered! No power loss for us, but I've been buried too deep to surface until now LOL

Central Ct got the heaviest bands of snow, but our winds weren't as bad as they were on the coast. Official count in my yard is 34" Did a ton of shoveling before we could even get the dinky snow thrower out, and then we had to run it in layers...dig a little, plow a little, rinse, repeat. The city plows have not made it to our street yet, so at the end of our cleaned driveway is a 34" wall of snow!.

Fist person to come and dig my car out gets a free Buzz Pro!!!

Thank you Fran, yep we did get more than you this time! I sure wish I had a blade on the back of my car LOL! Glad to get caught up here and see that everyone is ok We still have a lot of work left to do, and with Monday's heavy rain forecast...I'll be mucking water in the basement
