Here's what I read about margarine.

Margarine..
Very high in trans fatty acids.
Triples risk of coronary heart disease Increases LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)
Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..
Lowers quality of breast milk
Decreases immune response.
Decreases insulin response.
Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC...and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT
These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance). Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area.
Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:
* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)
* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic .

I read the plastic margarine thing to...Butter me up...

Back when I was just outta diapers I can remember my Granny churning butter and/or buttermilk..One day my Grand dad came home with a glass churn with beaters. It was similar to a mixer...My five Aunts and Granny were oohing and ahhing over it...The glass was really shiny....That's what stuck in my mind...Fill it up and plug it in....No more hours of lifting and pushing the paddle...I'd say Granny never went too a grocery until the late 60s..We actually made a living supplying the groceries with produce for many years...Granny lived to be 98.....

Tragedy has stuck our family again in a really bad way. My 1 1/2 month old great grandson died this morning. Cause of death hasn't been determined between crib death or suffocation in bed.

Oh, ((( Fran ))) I am so very sorry to hear that. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I'll be playing with some WTA soon. I was chatting with someone on ECF, and a friend locally, trying to get over the hump. I ordered some Aroma unflavored WTA 18, some new tobacco and hazelnut flavoring, a bit of higher test nic base. For kicks I'll see what I can do in a fairly high mg tobacco flavored eliquid, with WTA. My 10 mg/ml does it for me, but experimenting is fun :)

My mom also has gone back to just using real food. She is diabetic but only uses real sugar, real butter (made with olive oil) etc.

It really does make you want to just start growing/making your own food. Much like making your own ejuice, at least you know WTH is in it :)

My thoughts exactly Salem! It's pretty sad when you have to spend so much time in grocery stores reading labels for fear of what you are feeding your family. It's just not right.

You are just the man for the job too Mark! Let us know how you make out and what you think of it. Bo slipped after the holidays, after a year and a half (end of this month) of not smoking/vaping so although I know it is ultimately HIS decision, I am trying gentle persuasion ;) to get him back to quit status. If WTA can help, I'm all over it!!! He actually isn't smoking much (so he says) but with his line of work, and his history of smoking his lungs do not need any cigs.

Tracy, hoping for the best for Bo.

I've thought about WTA, but it's too pricey for me. I'm doing better, but still not completely quit. At night I'm fine and vaping satisfies me, but during the day is really tough. At least the RYO that I bought is WAY cheaper, and makes me have to stop and think whether I really want to have that stinkie.
