if you have an xbox 360 or a sony 3d compatible blue ray player you can set up a media server on your PC and stream them to the blue ray or the xbox using either tveristy or universal media player, my mother uses some other kind of media server program not to sure what it's called though

LOL, well, I already have NetFlix going to my smart-.... TV from my modem ... I wonder if I really need anything else? I tried that Hulu for a while but all they have is TV re-runs ... and not even the good ones like Jackie Gleason. And for five bucks we can usually watch more current movies on Dish ...

I'm going to have to investigate this further though ... its always fun to investigate and research things.

That is where I am from. Charleston is my home. My niece got married on Isle of Palms with a beach wedding years ago. Folly is nice too though

My niece had an oceanfront home for the weekend and she got married on the beach behind it. It was one of the coolest weddings I had ever attended

Salem, she moved to SC to get her Master at Clemson. I always thought she would come back home to TN. I guess it was wishful thinking on Mama's part. She decided she liked SC and of course, after she met Mr. Right, it was all over. I am just glad she is happy, but letting go is HARD.

Same here drives me nuts to see the woman who's taken care of me since birth struggle to take care of herself. I wish someone would give my mother a break, She has raised 4 kids that weren't biologically hers ( 9 kids total over 18), and now she's raising 3 more because some people in my family would rather party than take care of their own, not me of course). All at the same time dealing with her health issues (bad back, macular degeneration, panic attacks, the works), watching my son while I attend college classes and the list goes on. Thinking about getting her a Ego Twist set with some stuff soon to help her get off the smokes but been having a hard time afford a set for her (considering since I'm in college and better half is the only one bringing home money, figure when I do, it's something little I can do for her that will show that someone out there still cares for her and thinks of her as more than just some where to drop their kids off.

God bless your dear Mom. I have extra wire chargers, 2 Blu kits and a bunch of Volt batteries I no longer use. I also have a Blaze kit (still unopened) If your Mom could use any of these, I would be happy to send them to her. I've just been waiting on someone to come along that could use them. A PM with an address is all I would need if you think she would use them.

I just use VSO Downloader: download streaming ? free video downloader. As soon as it senses a video it starts downloading it and then converts it to the desired format. It can handle 4 simultaneously and you can log off the video sites but it continues to download and convert, in the background, while your doing other stuff. The best part is it's FREE.

Thanks for the link, 5c. I watch more stuff on my laptop than I do on TV. I have been catching up on Walking Dead this week.

I don't trust torrents, they are watched to heavily, would rather have a slow download then get caught up........I've got a copywrite infringment notice in the mail for downloading robin hood torrent a year or so back, whats the odds get caught stealing a moving about stealing from the rich and giving to the poor lol
