I just retrieved Spike from an afternoon with Mon and my Niece...He started eating grass...then he hurled three piles....I gave him a Greenie when we got home...Chewing a pigs ear now so I guess he's fine...

Cutting....welding....hacking all day long...The carry-all is nearing the final stages.....Then I gotta add some chain along the property line to further block access...It ain't gonna be but a few days and BREAK IN THIS ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was here this morning and posted...The forum ate it.....

I've shown mil all kinds of things about feeding people food to dogs...it goes in one ear and out the other. Dee, glad to hear Spike seems to feel better. I gave Chase a doggy dose of Pepto, and he hasn't hurled since, but he's worn out and sleeping. Poor thing.

Got all my sheets, mattress pad and quilt washed and hung out on the line. Checked a couple hours later and the sheets and pad are almost dry and ready to bring in, so I make lunch. I'm watching my daily episode of Battlestar Galactica, eating my lunch and I hear this peck peck on my window. I get up and look out and it's pouring down rain!! Ran outside and got sopping wet grabbing everything off the line, took it down to the basement and put the sheets and pad in the dryer. Hung the quilt over the line in the basement. I swear it rained all of 15 minutes, moved on and has been sunny the rest of the day.

I checked radar last evening and we were still covered by green...It rained pretty good overnight....There has been flooding in the mountains...Mud and water galore here...temps still well below average...We are ready for a warm sunny spell for sure.

Steel comes with a rust preventive coating that must be removed prior to welding...I use wax and grease remover on an old microfiber towel...It was laid on the workbench with my tools...When you have the welding hood down there is no vision other than the weld area....Out of the corner of my eye I see flames!!!!! A spark had found the towel and it was rolling!!! Flames were at least four foot high and approaching the ceiling of the shop...I grabbed the rag and threw it towards the outside....It got caught on the carry all that I'm building and flames were again licking the ceiling....The water hose tamed it enough to det it out on the drive where it burned for a good 15 minutes...That's my cardiovascular workout for the week.....No RedNecks were injured....
