Tracy, the ice cubes were a brilliant idea LMAO!! I started taking my Premarin again last night, so my internal thermostat should be back to normal soon

Fran, it is bad everywhere, and so is crime. We have a news story today that I haven't been able to get out of my mind, and my heart breaks for this child. A 15 year old from our local home for troubled youth girls (yes this home should sound familiar to those of you who've been here the last year) met a 34 year old man and went for a ride with him. He beat, raped, strangled her and left her for dead on the side of the road. Fortunately she was able to get to a house for help and is now recovering. The man has been caught, and is now in jail. He better hope they keep him segregated from gen pop.

Yeah we get the pharmacy hold ups here too...Couple of weeks back there was a burglary at one where it's reported they cleaned the place out....I guess the FDA was too busy trying to ban those evil e-cigarettes....

My truck isn't mine anymore. Didn't make any money on it but I figure my gain was family. My SIL has been using it after totaling his car and he got the check for his car so I told him he could have the truck for what I got in it.

Thanks Bo. That's not the worst of it. When he was out of work so long they lived off their credit cards. Well I guess my daughter doesn't have any cards left for Christmas shopping except a couple they ran the interest way up on. So I went to the bank today and got another one for here with no interest for a yr. then really low interest for her. I told her she better keep it pd because I just got done paying 2 of hers off. Obama and company are making things so bad for everyone. At least her husband went back to work finally.

Morning all Yep it's sock weather here...and I hate wearing socks almost as bad as I do a bra!

Dee, yes I believe there is a special place for those kind too. The thing that hit me hard is that this could very well be the same child that soon to be ex was stalking. There are only a few girls at this home, and it breaks my heart no matter who this child is. Child predators are a whole different level of evil!

Off to do Katie errands. I found a new smoke detector for her at Home Depot that has a 10 year li-on battery...woohoo LOL. Time to get the snow blower ready too, already got the oil to mix with the gas, but need to pick up some Stabil too.

Dee, remember that Jr. Senator from Fl that I posted about last night on FB? My cousin shot back her rabid desire for drug testing of welfare and food stamp recipients...I couldn't help but link a few facts on what a tax dollar waste that program turned out to be! Guess she didn't see the irony of a Fl Senator getting nailed in a buy bust
