Another busy week flown by. With the warm up tomorrow, hopefully I'll get to some plumbing at camp, a reverse osmosis filter for the kitchen and new fixtures in the bathtub.
Sent a BP in last Saturday for r&r, with any luck I'll hear about it next week. Not sure if it's the controller or a flaky wire, but it's taken a pounding over time

It's all stuff with the water turned off. The camp has heat, just much more pleasant to go when it's not ugly out.

Poor Katie, now she has another toothache. She lost a filling in one of her bottom teeth and it's on the opposite side of the one pulled on the top. She's having a hard time eating with trying to avoid those two spots. The dentist told her he couldn't see her until Monday and to put oragel on it. At least this one is not abscessed.
Tracy, I bet your girls have fun at the Medium! Just remind them not to take it too seriously if any of them gets a reading that isn't good
Mark, hope the weather co operates for you to get some stuff done. I'm expecting to be in the basement slopping water in the next day or so, weatherman says we could get 2" of rain.

We're only due for 1/2" rain, and little snow right where we are.
I've been poking around to figure out what to do with the camp porch floor. The carpet is cruddy, not sure what the plywood is like (I haven't noticed anything bad). Thinking I'll rip out the carpet in the spring, reseal the plywood if it is still okay, then install "jigsaw puzzle" snap together PVC floor tiles. Nicer than plain painted plywood, chemical resistant, some padding, easy clean, slip resistant surface, okay for outdoor use. I could just put in new outdoor carpet, but these tiles sound pretty sweet.
I'm still enjoying the Charlie Chan DVDs that wifie picked up for me. We finished the first 8 disks, 9 movies, of newer Sidney Toler/#2 son films, just about to start the other 12 movies, the original Warner Oland and #1 son. I'll probably dupe them all over to mp4, so I can play them on my tablet.

Bov, Please pass along this info to Katie. Try warm salt water rinses, as well as some warm diluted peroxide rinses (50/50) to get her through the weekend. Gentle swishes, not vigorous ones. They also make a temporary filling material sold at most stores now in the pharmacy or meds aisle. That may help along with the orajel. I have some dental assisting skills under my belt. I sure hope it helps!
Great news!!! My middle dd was given her first car tonight!!! Well, technically it is coming on Sunday, but she was none the less told about it tonight and given the title all signed over, a notarized letter that it was a gift and 2 extra keys. My cousin's daughter is getting her Mom's Durango and she wanted to give her Suzuki Grand Vitara to my daughter. So very generous of them, and we are so grateful! DD is over the moon!! Her 18th b'day was last week and she was hoping we got her a car, like we did her sister for her 18th. Times are tougher than they were and we just weren't able to do it. Anyways, this cousin is awesome with her vehicles. They go in the shop like clock work for maintenance etc and it is very well taken care of.
Made my day to see her face so happy. We all cried together!!!

Sdh I also hope you reconsider as you would be truly missed. If you look at my page you'll see I had probs too. Took me awhile but I proved them wrong. Gotta figure they're in a bad spot too having to police this forum and that can't be fun. They ask me a couple times to be a mod but the headaches would be too much for me so I declined.

Thanks for the tips Tracy, Katie has been doing the mild, warm salt water rinses. She's mainly frustrated because she can't munch on her favorite crunchy snacks...that would make me cranky too!

At least it will be warm....Believe in Climate Change???? More like Climate Changed.....Shifts are one extreme too the next...but....always extreme....Mother Nature hates us and she has every right...
