Afternoon Fran!
Supposed to be getting more of the s word tomorrow.
Temps to drop into single digits once again. JOY!!!
Joc (dd #1) went back to college last night for her final semester (living) there. She is planning to commute next year, which will start this summer if all goes accordingly. Was nice having her home for 5 weeks and 2 days....miss her already.
Lauren (dd #2) is at work and enjoying having her own wheels!
Of course that leaves Mama checking the weather every day to see if it's supposed to stay clear until her return. At least until she's had more experience driving this car.
Maddie (dd #3) returns to school tomorrow unless the weather scares them.
I'm heading out later to refill the kerosene tank, looks like we're going to need it!

My goodness 5er, I just looked at the receipt from the post office and your friendship bread is due to be delivered tomorrow!!! Good Lord I had no idea it would take this long. I apologize! Good thing it keeps awhile.
Evening all. The s word is creating panic in Katie because of her dentist appt tomorrow. It's not supposed to start until afternoon but that does little to quell her fears 
You'd think that she'd be used to the winters here after a lifetime...it's not like the state shuts down when it snows!

I think it gets worse with age Bov. Maybe because they have added worries about the younger ones driving in it. At least that's why I believe my Mom (my Aunts do as well) calls me to tell me everytime it's going to snow and how much, and stay in if possible, etc. They always give the WORST case scenario as well. The forecast could say somewhere between 3 - 8 inches and they will always tell me 8! lol Gotta love them!!!
Haha Tracy, true! If I hear 3-8 inches, Katie turns it in to a foot! And that turns into, "you better get the garbage barrel out to the curb because the truck runs 2 days from now!" And the plastic gutter extensions need to be taken off and put in the shed because they might crack...do we still have salt for the walk...etc.

Yippee, had my alarm set for 9:30 to make an 11:30 dentist appt for Katie, but she decided that I needed to get up at 7:30...again! She wanted to go to the bank and that just couldn't wait until right before the dentist. Ran her all over town, and now back home waiting for 11:00 to roll around. If I make it thru this day without pulling my hair out it'll be a miracle 8-o
