Feeling a little better.....but just a little...Nose still active and it's trying too settle in my chest....I know where this came from and I'm debating whether to cut his tires or just burn his damn car....I've been sick as hell all week and have only spoken to you here...I wouldn't wish this on anyone...nor would I parade around while still contagious....

My ram came in the mail late this afternoon. If you don't see me later, you'll know I didn't do it right

Well that was a dismal failure. That'll teach me not to ever go with no name computer parts again 
Same timing, same voltage, confirmed with the seller that it would play nice with my MB and my Corsair ram...not! My rig will not recognize it in any configuration, won't even get me to the bios. Boots up fine with only 2GB of the Corsair I have. Sooooo...got the 4GB of Corsair back in. New crap ram repacked, return authorized, shipping label and ready to return for refund.
At least my rig got a good cleaning for my trouble

Sorry about that Bo. I assign some of my hard drive space for RAM because some of the graphics I work on maxes mine out. Works pretty good. Only uses it when it needs to. Usually leaves a bunch of weird files on it afterward but that's no biggie.
At least they didn't balk at the return and refund. Once I see the refund on Katie's cc, I may just spend the extra cost on Corsair at Newegg...they are about $10 cheaper than Crucial and I wouldn't be mixing different brands. It's not a necessity, so I may just take the refund and forget it altogether.
What I ordered was $45, just sticks. The Corsair is around $70 for 2x2gb and set in heat spreaders.

Sorry to hear your fix didn't work Bov....I'm still new to this game and only on my second ever computer...I've got family and friends who regularly offer to tweak mine for better performance...Truth is all I ever do is surf...Works fine as is...
After a week of every damn thing hurts and aches....it's cold then it's hot...eyes watering...ears aching...I've blown 10 gallons plus of snot...Finally I feel better...Still a little nasal congestion and I'm dang near the nose scab threshold......I can't even remember the last kayfun fill and that master blaster I damn sure ain't picked up...Since Tuesday I've been up all night and slept all day...Last couple of days I went back to bed after I got up...That was one hell of a bug/virus/whatever??? I'm not one to visit the Doc and didn't....Even the food was all nasty...everything seemed super greasy...Time for a change in eating habits as well....Since I learned the inner secrets of the Atkins my weight usually fluctuates 35+- a year...That alone ain't healthy...Pre-spring I diet...pre-winter I make up for it...It's a viscous cycle...
Temps are getting up pretty good the next couple of days...I ain't seen the farm in nearly a week what with the crud bug and snow...We still have snow every dang where BTW...Looking foward to actually going outside and not freezing my azz off...
