Bov, your yard looks a lot like mine. Then we have a mountain in one area which came from the lower roofs. Makes me quite sick looking at it.

We had some freezing rain/rain here earlier today which froze when coming in contact with the roads/sidewalks. Lots of accidents. It warmed up after the rain and once again my car is up to the hubs in water. My neighbor and I called the town and asked if there is anything they can do to open the drain and pump it over to that location. Will hopefully hear something back tomorrow.

Wow Tracy, hope the city can and will do something. Some of the less social neighbors on our street think we're a gaggle of crazy old hens because Katie, Shirley (the sweet neighbor lady) and I keep the sewer grates on our street shoveled out when it snows, leaves raked up in the fall. Otherwise our street would be the same flood zone.

It's raining here still, and like you said...freezing as it hits the streets. We're sitting right on 32* but supposed to hit the mid to upper 40s tomorrow and thry the weekend.

The big problem here though is that the sewer drain is located in a strange place. That sometimes requires pushing this water with a shop broom or the like. I remember my ex doing that when the water would get this bad. Also, there are huge mounds of snow between that water and then a small street, then the drain. Ugh! These mounds are preventing it from going anywhere except up. My fear is it'll go up onto the sidewalks and into me and my neighbors basements.

Early this morning we had a wicked thunder storm roll past...It rained heavily as well...It's a muddy mess out there......

VapeRev just set a world record selling KayFuns...in and outta stock in less than 24 hours....Don't tell nobody but they have some green tanks and some clear M-tanks as well....I'm gonna snazz that thing up a bit with a green tank and a Team Rampage green tip or two....They got Mings as well and you know I broke all mine...I debated firing in on another KayFun but decided to enjoy the funds residing in my pocket for a while longer....

Mom called this morning and said her basement was flooded...I've known for a while there is a bull frog clan living down there...Spike goes ballistic trying to catch one so I let them stay...Their winter "house" had the drain plugged...The drain is exactly 99 feet from my shop's water hose...stretched to the limit I had just enough to send the frogs and mud hurtling toward the creek...The water was @4 inches deep this morning...Just wet concrete upon my return...Usually water runs in finds the drain and continues too the creek...I hope the frogs made it....I also hope I get a deposit made before those green tanks get gone....

Oh yeah, Feb. 20 is hoodie hoo day - "On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant "Hoodie-Hoo".

It is a day to chase away winter blahs, and bring in spring. After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun. " So

Hoodie Hoo to you !!! :D
