Well as far as snow storms go this one was kind of a woos, 2-3 in., not that I'm complaining. But it's sure dang cold -3. Looking forward to tornado season, but wait we already had one that's what knocked out our power the other day come to find out. 
Hope everyone is having a good Monday. We have 18 degrees and sun. Checked 2 different weather sites and they both say -11 for tonight. Hoping that's wrong...........
Errands done, gas tank full, BJ's and grocery store. The bank sign said 16 when I went by about 30 mins ago. Yahoo says 24, I think I believe the bank.

Well the snow didn't stay light here. I think we got about 5-6" and it closed all the schools around here today.

Mid 30s here...sleet and freezing rain forecasted....wind cutting like a machete`....Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just in from a rather boring two hour sit at the hearing aide docs....Word now that I'll be going to the accountant's here in a day or two...SOAFB...Other family members just returned from a 4 day down too Charleston....No time for a doc trip in their schedule....
I read a bit on the Polar Vortex while sitting at the docs...Seems the melting ice caps have changed the influences on the Jet Stream...The result......step outside....

Today and tonight are the coldest of the week, by Friday or Saturday we hit the 40s.
I feel your pain with those doc visits. I used to take my Grammy to hers as well.
Dee, I can relate to your Dr. office comments. Got nieces and nephews here that are very quick to question Katie on my "motives or agenda" being here, but you think a single one of them offers any help for her? I completely understand that our situation is out of the norm, but they circle like buzzards when there is a will to be read, while casting stones at the only person who really gives a damn about Katie. Take care of your Momma, you're doing the right thing even when it's a pain in your ....

Yesterday was a bit of a ride on the emotional roller coaster. Was a year ago last night that I answered the door to half the Manchester police force, with warrants for AH. Haven't seen him since they hauled him out kicking and cussing. Better perspective on it today...it's been a lot more peaceful here in this last year.
