Morning all...Dee, hope you made it through the storm ok!

Katie decided to call the plumber after we looked over the notes from his last 2 visits. He noted that he could see tree roots with his scope the last time he was here. That was a big "I don't have the expertise for this job" moment for me.

Weather, partly cloudy and 40ish today :)

Ouch Fran, hope your friend is ok! Probably a very stressful and frightening day for the dog :(

Your pic was not lost on me Moon :) Plumber just snaked the pipe from the sink down to the main drain, the clog was of the regular variety. He did tell Katie that the main will need to be replaced eventually, given that it's the original to the build from the 1940s. No tree roots were harmed today.

We got wind and rain still...Under the old Flash Flood warning...Power was down from 1~10 am...

Tree roots can't invade drain pipe unless said pipe is deteriorated...Given that...A cutter would likely spell the end of the pipe...Root invasion is pretty much new pipe time...

Joyous day spent taking Mom too her accountant...Glad that's a once a year deal....
