The robins have been here for a few weeks, the cardinals all winter.
But today? Today the cedar waxwings made their one day, once a year appearance... happy little souls that they are.
I don't know which direction they go from here, where they spend their summer months? Maybe up in y'alls' neck of the woods? A true harbinger of spring for me, here, though the robins have first dibs on the title.
Hummingbirds due soon, as well...
