LD I have a Vizio I bought a long time ago. I have my 3 pcs hooked to it so it's on constantly and I've never had one issue with it. It's an lcd though because the picture was so much better than plasma. Anyway it has outlived both my SIL's Panasonic and Samsung plasmas. I'm looking at another Vizio so I can give them this one. I swear by Vizios now.

5 the Vizio rates as well as Mitsubishi and Sony...There were no led TVs when I purchased my plasma....

I'm leaning towards the 55 E series Vizio and a sound bar as well...Kicking my old surround sound too the curb as well....

Now if I can only get the Vizio remote to command the Direct box....

LD we've had Vizio LCD 42" for about 4 yrs. no problems very pleased with it. Eric uses mostly for gaming.

Thank you everybody. I've had too many though so next year I'm not going to have one.

LD I have been looking at that same set up. I have no idea how their sound bar is but I usually use my other remotes on mine. It's been a damn good tv and costs a lot less than the others.

Had a whirlwind overnight trip to SoCal. Hit some shops including Vaper Venue and VapeRev. Both great shops and Great peeps. I was thoroughly impressed with both companies. I picked up some Chimp Berries and my buddy pick up some Chimp Berries Uncrushed.... 'Thumbs Up' on both.

Best buy had 18 months no interest and Wally has 24....I gots me a Wally card...Sitting here the 42 looks fine and dandy,,,In the store looking at the 55 it gets small quick beside the 60 and then it just gets worse with the 65.....My buddy had me drop by when he got his Vizio 60...My thinking at that time was it was just to big for his living room....Doesn't look so big in the store however and the pic looked swell even at 120hz refresh...There is a noticeable difference with 120 and 240...Those 240s are awesome and likely as good as plasma...I got 24 hours to use my receipt or I have to wait for my card in the mail...Beach trip approaching and under the gun to pick a TV.......I got research to do...It's either another Sammy or a Vizio....Got an opinion ?????? Let's here your thoughts....Sound bars are Vizio 5.1 and Sony with wireless sub....and we like subs...

Well LD if those are too small and you don't mind Panasonic you could get one like this.

Nick thanks for that link...The 60 Vizio rated well on everything but black color and the smart options were a little outdated....but for the price...NICE!!!!!!

They keep raving on a Panasonic plasma...Best everything in a somewhat low cost TV....

5 I'm measuring this 42 before I go back...It was 43 corner to corner...You stand in front of the 55 and the 60 keeps calling...makes the 55 look smallish...then the same effect from the 65....I don't think the 70 would even fit in the bed of the truck...They had a 70 running but the ticket said no longer available....Likely gonna go with the 60 Vizio and the Vizio 5.1 sound bar...I won't ever go back outside if I get YouTube streaming....
