Thank you everyone! (((Kgj))) Extra special to see you here!

I hope yall enjoyed the trip this morning, it was all for naught! The court forgot to notify the prison to transport him, so the judge postponed the hearing until April 24th :(

I want to be very angry, but it's beyond my control so I'm just going to make the best of another beautiful day and let go of the disappointment. I had to call the prison, talk to his counselor and send him some forms to fill out and sign. He has to mail them back, and on court day, the judge will have a video conference with him. Soooooo the good news is I won't have to see him!! Hell it's been 10 years, what's another 2 weeks LOL!

5 I couldn't agree more....Damn boy just wants a field trip...After all he's done....Well I'll skip the rant....Sorry about that Bov...I'm betting round 2 will be easier though...Still DAMMITT BOB!!! I wanted that to be over and done with....

Medical home remedy experimentation update...Years back I ordered some nasal spray containing hot peppers for sinus headache relief...Somewhat effective but hot as Hades...I believe the biggest relief was when your sinuses quit burning...This lead to further study on the effects of capsacium{sp} on sinus issues...There was a possibility of relief but since it was readily available without prescription no real study was done that I found...I live close too the Texas Pete factory and have been loyal to TP for life...They enter the Sarachai market with ~CHA!!...Fairly big bottle and I've had it @ 2 weeks...Half gone now and I believe it has had a profound effect on my sinus issues...We have pollen in buckets ATM and while I've had some issue it hasn't been that bad at all....The Cha is pretty dang good as well...Last evening's dinner was tuna ala can smothered in Cha...

Diet wise I started at 239....224 on an empty stomach yesterday...Push for 220 is on...Time for some organic grilled chicken breasts.....

The Snake Oil is quickly becoming a favorite...Hoping the Dragon's Blood is equally as pleasing....Past ventures to the open forum indicated many were loving Vanilla Custards from Bryce...Grant and Big Willie...From what I've gathered from experience I believe a VC blend would retain good flavor after being heated by a coil...I have a complex and high percentage recipe pulled from deep in a thread...It'll take a few weeks but I will throw it together...For now Snake Oil is Bomb Diggity........

Sorry you didn't get any closure Bov.
On the plus side, you don't have to be in the same room with him.
That should make the two week wait easier to stomach.
Hi all. Had to show some support at this juncture.

That part is great news Kgj, and you're right...it's worth the extra 2 weeks just so I don't have to sit across a table and negotiate with him! Thank you SO much for showing your support...you made me feel special

Woohoo George!! Can't wait till you get it in the mail!

Nice and warm here Fran, just very windy.

Dee, John, and other resident auto experts we have here...I have a question. Error code P0112 on my 2003 Hyundai Accent 1.6L indicates that I need to replace the MAP sensor (it's actually the air intake sensor but on my engine they are built as one unit). I've located it, inspected the wiring harness and it appears fine. Unplugged and replugged it, didn't clear the code. The part is not too expensive, is this something I can easily replace myself? Here's a diagram of where it's located on my engine, looks to be unplug harness, unscrew sides, replace. Opinions?

Ugh.

I am glad there was a positive for the negative your day began with, Bov :) Letting go... and silver linings.

Still...

Ugh.

First off Bo if you were in the same courtroom as him you wouldn't have direct conversation with him but you could of had the opportunity to laugh at his position in his face and other demeaning gestures out of the judges eyesight.

Now the Map sensor. If you can reach it and can take off bolts holding it, unplug the harness and reassemble that's all there is to it. If there's a gasket make sure you get it completely removed before installing the new one.
Autozone instructions.
To replace a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor:
Locate the sensor.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Unplug the wiring harness and vacuum hose.
Unscrew the two screws holding the sensor in place.
Reverse the procedures to install a new sensor

Bov it's likely held in with 10mm bolts or phillips screw headed bolts....

You should un-hook the negative battery lead first...Leave it off @20minutes..or until everything is re-assembled...Likely that won't clear the code but maybe...A scanner will likely be needed to clear it...Any auto parts should be willing to scan it out...Especially the one you but the MAP from...

A strong possibility exists that cleaning the business end of the MAP may be all that's needed...I believe the cleaner I use{MAP safe} is CRC in a silver can...several companies make it just be sure it says sensor safe....

The Ranger is pre code...A biiiiiigggggg plus!!!!!!!!!! I can tell the MAF is dirty in it as it runs rough on occasion...and yeah no MAP a MAF!! The condition clears as soon as the gas pedal is moved and a dirty MAF has issues detecting low flow....

All day on the mower and tractor...grass or I should say weeds are cut and round up applied!!! I wore a mask until my nose hurt...!0 to 1 I have a headache tomorrow...saracha or not..
