You're making me hungry Dee! I always have a big bag of Blue Diamond almonds on hand for snacking. My fav is the Toasted Coconut. I buy 'em at a store here called The Christmas Tree Store, where I can get the 1lb bag for $6.99. Your chops sound good too!

Yep, we're gonna need pics of that vanity once you get it finished. Something I've yet been able to convince Katie of, not going with cheap stuff. You can lead a jackass to water, but...

Well I had a link too the vanity bookmarked....it's no longer working.....It went wall too wall in its previous location so both sides were un-painted and had 1/2 inch holes for counter sunk screws...I glued some plugs in those holes today...I also removed the toe kick as it was loose from being drug around...It's glued and screwed now!!! Really needed to drive 40 miles and order a tub surround but after 250 miles++ yesterday....well...plus my transmission still ain't fixed...Gonna install the vanity as it sits now sans the doors and drawers as it's lost a ton of weight and the bath isn't what I'd call easily acessable...Much easier finding the wall studs with everything out of the way as well....Thinking some brushed stainless pulls and knobs would be a winner too...save me from cleaning the chrome ones I got with it as well...Heavy rains supposedly on the way so things may creep a bit...Ice cream social for my cousin's son and future bride Saturday as well...Diet wise I've dropped from 239 down too 213 so a little ice cream won't hurt....you know I love some ice cream...I'd love to have that dang bath finished as well....loading in the vanity will be the last thing requiring help...the dang top alone is over 100lbs easy...

Sounds like a plan LD. I had to ease up on my diet just a tad. I've been feeling bad lately,no energy etc.. Then I bought some OJ that I uesd to drink gallons of and immediately felt better. I kind of overdid it on the diet. I was eating around 1500 cal. for the day but I guess the body don't work well without fuel.

Five I just remove two things from my diet....flour and sugar...Both are refined heavily and not good for you...With refined carbohydrates removed from your diet the body switches to fat for fuel...I watch all carbohydrates but a good natural no sugar added OJ would be fine....Couple weeks back I read gluten is present in all bread...Some are gluten intolerant...The bad thing is gluten breaks down into a sugar in your system and is addictive...My newest research concludes coconut palm sugar is the best sweetener alternative,,,,another sugar from dates is also good but does not dissolve...so it won't fly in coffee or tea...I made a gallon of tea last week and steeped it with two tablespoons of stevia that I grew last summer....My sister got one of those high dollar blenders and I stuffed it with leaves and dropped the hammer on them...The tea was hella good and the stevia returned for another summer on its own...Thinking of finding a better spot for the stevia and ordering up a few more plants...You can also do an alcohol extraction and use it as a liquid sweetner...cause Splenda will kill you....

Slow moving cold front approaching...Severe storms possible...Highs in the low 70s till Monday...I hear thunder in the distance atm...Off to get some paint and a tub surround here in a few...

LD I don't do sugar or salt at all. I hate Soda pop of any kind. I pretty much drink Crystal Lite 99% of the time and have for about 10 yrs. until I got on my oj kick but that's out too. I don't eat beef cause it's too hard on the plumbing. For snacks I cut out everything. About the only thing I snack on at night are unsalted crackers. For dinner I usually eat one of those healthy choice steamers. My doc said with my plumbing I need to not eat big meals but instead be a Grazer, eating small more often instead of 3 big meals a day. As it is I eat ceareal in the AM, sometimes eggs and toast but not too often. I haven't ate lunch in yeasrs. So its breakfast, small dinner and crackers at night 85% of the time.

Afternoon all!

I'm the worst kind of eater! I don't eat breakfast, even when I was a kid my Mom couldn't get me to eat it. I eat a late lunch (just now getting to it today) and usually something like 5c's Healthy Choice for dinner around 10pm. My biggest downfall is I'm a carb junkie, late night snacker. Skipping breakfast works against me by keeping my metabolism sluggish. I know all the "wrong" things I'm doing, just hard for me to buckle down and change

Katie decided she wanted me to take her to the grocery store this morning instead of driving herself. I have a feeling that she's getting concerned about her driving abilities, but just won't admit it out loud. Mowed the yard when we got home...I swear that yard gets bigger every time I mow

I might not have made many poke cakes this winter, but my waistline didn't get the memo! lol I've been guilty of snacking a little too frequently.

I used to eat a lot like Bov does, and it worked great for me....until recently. (middle age spread?) Knock it off guys...hahaha I never ate breakfast but would have lunch around 12 or 1, then a light dinner, snack then bed. Lately I've been eating breakfast of some sort, lunch and a light dinner but snacking in between all of them! haha I need to cut out those snacks, hell at least half of them and try to eat the way I used to.

It's a humid 81 here right now with rain coming in tonight, lasting through tomorrow. I'm not complaining as Id rather pay electric bills than oil any day!!!

RTS reopens tomorrow at 3 pm EST if anyone is interested. :)

Do you mean Real-time strategy, or Reformed Theological Seminary, or Regional Transit System, or Resistance Training Specialist?
