Morning all :)

Pretty much the same forecast for us Fran.

Dee, you just nailed another reason I walked away from organized religion. I was baptized in the Baptist church, started questioning what they were really about when I was old enough to grasp the idea that girls wearing white shirts, dancing, you name it were responsible for boys' "evil" thoughts. Many other reasons too, but I decided I didn't need the convoluted rules to believe in Christ.

I was 6 years old, when the Catholic Nuns told us that looking at girls wearing "short shorts" was a mortal sin and that if we did that, we would go to hell.

The nuns also told us that looking at our private parts when we urinated was a mortal sin too. A nun would patrol the boys room, to make sure that we were looking up at the ceiling. Makes me wonder what the hell that nun was looking at !!!

Tornado warnings and the sun's shining.

Careful Fran that is exactly how it started for us when 167 tornadoes hit the South. Then it started hailing and the sun was still shining all the while I was watching a tornado on TV headed for my husband and kids I was on the phone with them telling the to seek shelter the last I heard before the phone went dead was "Oh my God there it is daddy faster." It was 45 minutes before I knew if they were dead or alive. They were fine but barely got passed 2 tornados in time. We were without power for 2 weeks.

Be very careful Fran!!!

Evie, small tornadoes happen in New England, usually in Central Massachusetts, every now and then. That's about all the tornado activity we have around here.

Still y'all be careful that scared me her talking about the sun shining, that had been a weird weather day before the tornadoes hit. :)

That's terrible,Evie. Glad you and your family got through it safe. I believe the area of danger is east of us for now.

Same here on the FF warnings.

Evie I bet that did scare the bejeebies out of you! I'm not a native New Englander, lived in the south most of my life, and have been through a couple of tornadoes. Up here, I still pay close attention to a tornado warning! And blizzard and hurricane warnings!

    Evening folks :)

Flash flood?!?!? What's that I guess all you non desert dwellers have to watch out for that kind of thing.. Lol... Actually Friday and Saturday we got a good rain... Probably a little sprinkle for all you but it was enough to make the weeds grow around here.. Humidity is at at 49% that's probably the high for the typhoon season around here. Now for the next week the evaporative cooler won't work very well might have to stay n the pool to keep cool as soon as I'm done digging it out that is.

Jerry, the headlight is essential for people like me who's dust bunnies under the bed grow so big that they run from the vacuum...you need the headlight to blind them

    HAHAHAHA!!!!

Ouch !!!! Pokey I didn't know you had a hidden camera on my house.

    ((no more whining))

    Pokey sees all...says little ;)

Good luck with the vacuum Pokey...I'll drop by and vacuum a bit if you like....

Thanks Dee!! Hurry though, pleeeeease?? The dust bunnies aren't likely to be afraid of a little ol' headlight at this point. And they're getting too big to run—they just glare back at me

Lotsa catching up to do 'round here (obviously)—just a hello and howdy-do for now!
And hugs all around, of course

I haven't went out and got yarn yet although I may do so.... I ordered some organic no bleached no peroxide triple boiled still had plant partials stuff from Hawaii. It actually produces great flavor and vape. I have only been able to get it to wick well for a maximum of 5 days but think I just need to get the amount used and placement down and it will turn out fine.
