Thanks for all your thoughts and good wishes everyone! (((hugs)))

Well, I'm giving it a shot!!! I start this Tuesday. 3 days per week for now. I figure if I hate it, I'll know so pretty quickly and can still get into the school gig in time. :p The winter travel does concern me, and I've addressed this at the interview. She says without 4 wheel drive, which I do not have, she tells employees (all 3 of us) to park at the top of her driveway and walk down. I'm thinking more like slide on your keester down!!!! hahaha Her driveway was the least of my concern....but that 3 mile tour of the twisty country roads leading up to her driveway! We will see!!!

I am a bit nervous.....not a creature of change!!!! :)

Yes Pokey I know the amusement park....I haven't been there since the 70s and the church youth group thingy....Suspecting my claw marks remain on that Thunder Road though....I was conned into that one..Just let me know when the floors need my attention again.....

From the news...James Garner has passed...He was always cool in my book...even before Al Davis allowed him on the sidelines during the Raiders hay day...RJ American has been ordered too pay a Florida family 23.6B for a death due too lung cancer....It's one thing too sell straight tobacco....when you add chemicals solely too addict smokers then it becomes criminal IMO....RJ will appeal all the way too SCOTUS and that judgement will be thrown out....

Trace hoping the job choice goes well....

All the hustling has left me worn down...Draining fluids from the Ranger ATM and slowly wading into that project....Hoping after that I can get back too gaining ground instead of recovering lost ground....My Bronco I built when things were different.....namely you could fill the tank for $30 instead of $100...It's a hellacious ride that gets @ 5 miles per gallon so mainly it sits these days....It needs a carb cleaning and likely a distributor cap...One day....The Dodge is also rather hellacious...I've upgraded all the known faults Dodge added for free except the front wheel unit bearings...known problematic and even worse with big tires....yeah borrowed time....the upgrade kit is $1500....at that point I'll have a little over 2 million in that Dodge....again some day and hopefully this year....All I wanted was a worm bed and then the sheet hit the fan....at least my Harley is running well......

Good for you Tracy!! Congratz!! I'm excited for you :) Just leave a sled at the top pf her hill!

Dee you really have been up against the wall this year, glad things are working their way back to something more normal for you. I read both news articles you mentioned, sad to lose Mr. Garner. RJ America...they've been fighting this case since 1996 I believe it was said...I may be wrong on that, but it won't ever settle for that family. I'll continue to applaud the family tho, for having the courage and tenacity to keep fighting!

Evening all :)

Tracy, congrats girl. Snow isn't anything to worry about. I've lived in some of the snowiest places on earth and if you treat it right it will treat you right. Ice now that's another deal but they have things to get you through there too.

LD if your Harley's running good all's right with the world. I to seen the sad news of Maverick. The guy was an icon. The world will be missing something with him gone.

Bo memories of the old digs is great to think back on. I hope alls well with you and the rest of the notcigs friends.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the well wishes.

One thing is for absolute sure....I am passionate about vaping (as we all are here ;) ) and it'll be kind of neat to play a part in it. (the helping of others)

If it doesn't work out, no harm done. The school cafeteria positions will still be there. Maybe not always an opening, but at least once each year to get in there.

I too was sad to hear of the passing of James Garner. :(

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!!

Tracy my mom was the head cook at the gradeschool I went to. The bad part was if I did anything wrong (which was too much) she would pull me out of the lunch line as I passed and give me my just rewards.
You need to get one of these and park it at your bosses house.

LD I hated that damn helmit law. It was some liberal that came up with that. Like swimming with a tuxedo on. They both look stupid.

Nit nite again Fran.

Those Johnsonville Grillers??? Even properly cooked are tough old birds...Feeling bloated as well.....I'll not be buying any more....

Yeah helmet laws suck...Not real sure it was a liberal idea however....I know for sure the Right shot down a repeal here last year....

Fran I was a long time Toyota 4X4 driver...Toy discontinued the RN30 platform in 1995 for the US market...The years since I always had a big truck with a Trans Am followed by a Celica...when I decided to go back with a small truck I quickly found I could purchase 2.5 Rangers to 1 Toyota...I was OK with Ford so I went that route...Ranger with a 5-speed is highly reliable....not so much with an automatic...

You must have a different set of libbers than we do LD. But I live in a libbers state so I'm pretty in tune to their ways. When that law was being formed they argued you were just as apt to get your neck broke from the helmet as you were not having it on. Din't matter, our government mother will tell us what we do because she thinks of us as kids. In my case she's a libber.
