My gosh, some of you non-workaholics get up early!

I guess Fran likes to get out there and shovel snow before the sun comes up. I can appreciate a woman like that! But we have several ladies here that mow their lawns and trim hedges and paint their houses and do all kinds of things.

I try to avoid all that silliness.

But there are things I do. I pet the dogs and charge my Buzz batteries and lay on my plaid couch out there in the weeds in the front yard by the bass boat. Sometimes I load my wife up in the back of my pick-up truck and haul her to town - if I can get some help loading her. So I do a lot.

Oh, and when the goobermint sends me that Sociable Securities check I order juice to vape. Busy, busy, busy .... that's me.

So you workaholics stay after it and remember, just four more days until Monday!!

A little late getting back to this but.....LOL TT, you described exactly what I did while married. I made food while the hubs and friends watched the games. Chilli, hot wings, soups. They loved it.

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. It's almost the weekend!!! I have to school shop for Maddie, and middle dd has senior portraits scheduled for the 20th. Cannot believe she is a senior already! Next June I will have 3 graduating.....one with her bachelors degree from college, one from high school, and one from kindergarten. That's me....living on the edge!!! hahaha

I got up earlier so I could take a longer nap Allergies are kicking my .... the last few days.

Katie flopped a pork roast on the kitchen counter yesterday and asked me to come up with a recipe for it. She's Polish, loves sauerkraut, so I found a crock pot recipe for pork roast with taters and kraut. Stuffed the crock pot with it last night so that she could take it out of the fridge and get it started this morn. I went downstairs a bit ago and she says she doesn't like it. Anybody wonder why I don't bother to cook here?

Thats interesting, sluers. You would not believe how many baby wipes that we go through. We use them to wipe our bird cages down with daily.

Baby oil seems like it would make it too oily though? I may have to give it a try.

Another friend shared with me how to make my own laudry soap last year and that stuff is cheap and works great!

Hey Salem, Had a couple of 'not so good days', but starting to feel better.

I thought the same thing about using the baby oil, but you really don't notice the oil. The original recipes I was given called for 2 Tbls of baby oil, but I cut it down to 1 1/2 Tbls. I started using baby wipes 20 years ago with the birth of my daughter. Since then they have become a main staple in this house. I'm sure you can tweak it to be more suitable for the bird cages.

I've been working on a project for the last couple of days, and dusting off my crochet skills that I haven't used in 20 years

Very nice Bovinia! You must have been a crochet expert 20 years back, or you have magic needles I think its been only 4 years since my hands held a crochet hook and I would be hard pressed to remember how to start a chain

My wife gets toilet paper from Pittsburgh Sandblasting, Grit and Abrasives Company.

It leaves my backside in a "baby behind" smooth condotion!
