I hope life is treating you all well. TT, I'm sorry to hear about your fall and hope you are well on the mend now.
Today is Maddies 5th birthday!!! We will be celebrating later on with cake and presents. School, although quite an adjustment is coming along nicely for Miss Maddie. She couldn't go yesterday though bc of a stomach virus that reared it's ugly head just as we were getting ready to leave the house. We've all had a turn with it so far. Middle dd (who gets it really bad) hasn't been able to go yet but I've had her to the docs this week. It's been nuts I tell ya!!!!
The washer ordeal has been quite an ordeal to say the least! The first machine they delivered was the wrong one entirely and THE cheapest model they carry. (um no thanks!) HD upgraded me to compensate for the mixup. That machine was delivered on the 22nd. Three wash loads and 40 some hours later it eats holes in my dd's good sheets!! Grrrrr! Turns out that bc it happened within 48 hours (thank god it did) they will take it back. Pick up was yesterday. Next one to be delivered sometime after the holiday weekend.
I just want a machine that a) I ordered and b) WORKS well. Cross your fingers for me guys, this is getting real old. Plthhhhhhhhhh!

When it rains it pours huh Salem? I'm surprised I'm still a sane person with all of the craziness going on around me this summer. A day at a time is my new motto. That, and what doesn't kill us can only make us stronger. hahaha
I did all of the wash that I could before they came to get it, and thankfully my Mom lives about 2 1/2 blocks away and is helping me in between deliveries.

Oh I know 5c, that would be the logical way of thinking huh? No!!!!! They have to wait until that other machine gets scanned in as a return, then credit me for the repurchase (a different brand machine) and schedule that delivery. I'm like "Helloooooooo, I NEED a washer people!!!" Frustrating to say the least.
We move oldest dd back to college tomorrow. Where did summer go? This year remains a mystery.....she has her field placement to do and it may end up that she has to stay there through breaks and possibly next summer with only weekend visits home. I cannot wait until she is finished.

Oh boy Tracy...I'd be raising such a ruckus at HD that they'd get me taken care of just to shut me up!! Their mistake, they should eat it and compensate you for your damaged laundry to boot! Certainly a huge frustration on top of what you are already dealing with. Hope the kiddo's feel better soon.

What do they think you have a fetish about dirty clothes? Or that your lifes goal is to cheat HD on their washers? I'd get my dough back and buy a washer somewhere else. I'm so upset for you that I feel like going on their Facebook page and tell everyone what POS they are but I'll keep my big nose out of it.

I just purchased a washer from Lowe's....They asked where I wanted it delivered....I said into the bed of my pick up....Oh well then come back in three days...we gotta order it....Everything must be kept at a hub these days....

The washer and dryer we got My brother and his wife bought new then traded them to us for a pickup we had. That was a while ago. I replaced the computer inside the washer and a bearing a couple yrs. ago but other than that it's taken a licken and keeps on ticken.

It's the most sought after site in the campground. We reserve almost a year ahead to get it. Hubby and I both love to sit by the campfire at night.
