Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea? What happens when you are in a situation where you actually have to have your own smarts to drive?

I see all the commercials lately for the cars that warn you of possible accidents, auto braking, etc. In my mother's finest voice, "It's going to make drivers too lazy to pay attention." I see a whole lot of future lawsuits from people who blame their cars for accidents

The washer and dryer we got My brother and his wife bought new then traded them to us for a pickup we had. That was a while ago. I replaced the computer inside the washer and a bearing a couple yrs. ago but other than that it's taken a licken and keeps on ticken.

LOL it's just a reflection but it sure does look like eyes.

Drivers are already too lazy to pay attention. Auto braking just picks up the slack. It all started with the computer then the smart phone now they say in the future the car, smart phone, and computer are all going to be rolled into one.

Probably have to blow in a hose and whiz in a bottle before it will start.

But if it has some kind of program to keep a guy from driving down the sidewalk at 2:30 in the morning ... I know a couple people who might be interested in a car like that.

My wife has a washer and dryer. I don't know where she got them and don't know a danged thing about them ... and don't want to. They do have all kinds of pretty lights on them though and sometimes when there's nothing on television I go in the laundry room and just sit there and vape and look at the pretty lights.

Its easy to amuse me.

Well first off them thar cas is gunna be spensive. And second off I like driving too much to turn it over to a computer. What are they going to do when the hackers set your car to go into reverse at 100 MPH?

I thought about hackers too 5...or what about when something in the computer goes wrong. Just more stuff that'll be too expensive to get fixed.

I would be more worried if it malfuctioned and took off with no way to stop it. I had my steering go out on the freeway one day. luckily for me there was a slight turn in the road so I got it off the side of the road within a mile but it was scarey.

I got good sleep last night too. Yee haw.

Just popping in to say I'm still alive. The gfx card has ended my battle with lock ups so I'm very happy with that. I'm also one part away from completing the PC build I've been working towards for the past few years. I'm so close I can taste it. Now if my ebay stuff would sell. lol All the stuff I bought to sell hasn't moved. All of my own things I put up sold easily. Funny how that works.

Progress on the deck Probably do a gravel layer bridging from the landing to the driveway, definitely aiming at lawn to the right, towards the lake.

Not here either. Looking to be a tad stormy. There were flood warnings south of us today.

A friend of mine is moving to Hawaii and I was supposed to help load her stuff in a container all last week but I was just to under the weather to help. I'm better now so tomorrow it looks like I'll be packing a container with household stuff.

Off and on showers, maybe a storm or two. Unless we get something heavy, I'll be trying to finish the deck Monday, plus the topsoil/grass and gravel.
