Another busy week shaping up.
With the cold last night I did a water shutdown at camp, turned off the pump and purged everything. It looks to be warm the rest of the week, so I'll see how easy it is to get things running again
I'm still working through the flood insurance drudge. FEMA came back, needed the agent to fill out another section of the application, the one which describes the crawlspace and how there's plenty of openings for water to flow through.
Meanwhile, the agent asked for yet more information on the house. It started life as a 1972 12x60 trailer, but has had huge additions/updates, with full A frame roof, large living room and porch addition, etc. Apparently people keep tripping over the 1972 trailer part, can't look at the photos of the current house and "get" that thinking of it as a trailer is idiocy. I finally found Town sales records showing how in 1999 the property listed as Class 270 manufactured housing, while as of a 2005 sale the property description had updated to Class 210-1 family residence. Hopefully that'll do the trick, this place isn't something I can connect a truck to and roll away (the multiple tons of concrete piers, and fact that the original trailer is completely tied to the addition and roof system would make it just a tad tough to do).

Mark my late SO's mother had one of those and it was called a mobile home or prefab or something like that because they hauled it in on wheels in two sections and assembled them on site. But it had a foundation plus there's no way you were going to haul it down the road. Each section was about 14 feet wide.
Late FIL did this with his mobile house. He hauled it from Ok and decided to use it to build a house with. (Hope that makes sense.) Anyway, he built additions and it was firmly secured to a foundation. I have no idea on the tech that was involved. I could not tell it was a mobile home.
