Looks like it would work Bo.

Okay I guess I can show you all now why the Seahawks have been winning their games. I wasn't supposed to say anything but what the hey. They have been using Official 5 Card Stud edition football. Try not to let it get out.
I think everyone knows why I put the "E" on it.

Congrats on the win LD. He is turning out to be one darn good QB. Well any body that has their name on a footbayy (Wilson) should be pretty good. I guess that's why they have Pete coaching the Seahawks instead of me. They don't listen to me anyway. I yell and scream at the TV while they're playing and they don't listen to a word I say.

I found out that the Protank, Vmod, Dbox, or any others that use them kind of coils the white isolator on the center post works great to repair the top caps on Notcig PVs. They're a little bigger and heavier. I have been saving a few and have used a couple to fix a few of mine that needed fixed. Just thought I'd pass that along.

Good morning everyone!

I didn't forget ya Bov, Lauren was being a bit of a bear yesterday being tired from her night in NYC. I also had a houseful of company yesterday with dd being home, and people wanting to see the puppy. I plan on having her check on that mp3 today after school. I just can't see it sitting here in a drawer when a really great person is needing one! :)

Off to start my day! (((hugs))) to all

When I do rest I become a true vegetable, but when I've got a project I like to get it done.

The great room was, frankly, pretty dim at night, I only had 3 single bulb fixtures on the beams, had disconnected the floods pointed at the ceiling. 9 50W-equivalent lights provides plenty of lighting over the sofa and love seat for reading, the 65W-equivalent floods aimed at the ceiling will likely be nice for ambiance, low light when watching a movie. Dimmable is DW's desire, only adds $1/light and the LEDs will be all of 7W each (instead of real 50W halogens, or the non-dimmable 5W LEDs). I was going batty trying to figure out what kind of dimmers I needed; this morning I reached a couple of sites and it looks like the old fashioned, simple/small/cheap Leviton rotary dimmers are actually proper to use for what I'm buying.

I'm chipping away at candelabra format lights for the chandelier over the dining table. I put in some CFL flame ones a couple years back, when the present chandelier went in, but even I agree they're cruddy, not enough light and too cool a tone. I ordered one candelabra format this time around to test, see if the output is better than the CFLs.

Morning all! Tracy, I knew you didn't forget, and I'm glad Miss L had a great time :) I came across that deal last night and bookmarked it, just in case.

Mark, all your lighting sounds nice. I like the dimmable idea, unless I need task lighting for something specific I prefer to watch tv without bright lights on. I don't want the room completely dark for tv tho.

We ended up with not much more than enough rain to wet the driveway, but it's gorgeous out right now :)

And a girl's gotta take care of her *girls*! I have been putting that off for sooo long. October has come and gone and I still haven't made a squish appt

One of our smoke alarms needed a battery change, and poor Chase is scared silly of the beeping. I pulled the battery thinking we had extras, and went to do my town stuff. Didn't get batts, got home and Katie had reset the old batt and it was in the basement beeping. Chase is a quivering mess :( Sometimes I just want to bop Ms. K upside the head! And we are out of 9v...figures.
