Five if the chicken soup rinse don't work try a little nic juice...it will for sure kill any germs....
I've had Keurig's ss mesh cup for two years and never even unboxed it...received it as a gift...Got four Cafe Cups today along with a bag of Dunkin Donuttz coffee...These cups don't require removing the cup holder from the Keurig and boast a 90% cost saving over the standard K-Kups....For sure those K-Kups are overpriced....Now iffin I can find bagged Kaluha coffee...You know for those times maximum caffiine isn't required....Which ain't often....If you're using a Kuerig you might investigate...I've no idea where they came from....
May need to rinse my sinuses with chicken soup....felt as if a truck hit me all day....Combined with an early exit from the rack due to having a Santa date with my Niece....Well I've seen better days...

Christmas just ended and we had a great one. Sounds like everyone did as well.

Ld if you remember I did that once right after they did the transplant. I accidently grabbed a bottle of nic instead of the eye drops I was supposed to use. Felt like someone put a cigarette out in my eye.
Trip to Keene cancelled. Hubby went as far as the PO so I could send a couple pkgs and we came home. Slipped and slide coming back up the hill but made it without mishap. The roads are very bad.
Now that you mention it 5 I remember...That had to be painful.....
Fran try and stay warm....It's way warmer here and still way to cold for me to venture out for long..
Bov you mad mention that @ 80 one doesn't know how many Christmas' are left...With Mom @83 I see many things that have slipped with her...I see others expect way to much from her...She can be annoying as hades at times but one day one will wish for those annoyances...With both sets of Grandparents long gone along with my Dad lets just say a once very full holiday season now requires only one short trip..I'll be 54 on 2/6 and every one of those years have been well spent...I got a ton of memories and few regrets..
My wish for the New Year is for Tracy and Bo to enjoy a long and happy life together. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

Afternoon all! Snow is flying here, but not supposed to get more than an inch or two.
Dee, that's exactly what I spent my day thinking about. For as much pissing and moaning as I do, Katie is very good to me. I've watched with a sad heart her decline in this last year. Altho physically quite healthy, her mental state is slipping. She recently started telling me that she doesn't want to lose me, but what goes unspoken in that statement is that she's very afraid of the time when AH gets out and comes back here to live. All I can do is be here for her now, and try to ease her mind about the future we can not control.
As for your New Year wish...I second that sentiment!

Weather says an inch or two her but we have that and it's still coming down.
Friend of ours lost his Mom a couple weeks ago. She lived in her own home til the end and had a good life. She was 91 years old.

My mother is 93 and lives on her own. Life alert pendant (system) is a load off our minds and meals on wheels they make it possible, she still cooks some too.

For those who may not know what we are speaking of...Bo & I got engaged for Christmas!!! It's a beautiful ring that I cannot stop looking at! I keep wondering how I got so lucky?!?
It's been a whirlwind of "goings ons" the last week or so. Christmas preparations, gatherings, dinner here at my house. I had one of the best Christmases of my life though! Now I am looking forward to settling back down a bit again. New Years and middle dd's b'day is just around the corner, so maybe then?

We wanted (Bo wanted) to call it a Christmas engagement bc it was an easier date to remember.
hahaha Smart man huh? That after he called me from work a couple of weeks ago asking my birthdate for insurance purposes. What?!?! I pop quizzed his .... for weeks afterwards. He probably forgot it already though!
